Subscribe if you like the run and want to see a sub 1:05:00 happen. If this video nets me 20 subs (curently 2) or somehow gets beaten, i'll try to get a 1:04.
Really clutch run. This run was best pace ever on like 80% of the splits, including everything after season 5 race 3. Ontop of that, it was easly the fastest season 6 ive ever had. Despite a 50 second loss on my gold on season 2 race 4, it was only 10 seconds off of best pace ever at that point lmao
My attempt counter is 216, but most runs die around 20 or more mins in, since thats when you get the mclaren and it actually starts becoming reset heavy. There are very few early game resets because of that. Going for 1:04 would prolly require a lot more resets i suppose since it would help to try and get a 19 min season 2 time.
Sandy beaches was kinda solid for once. I had 2 pretty bad races, both combined are about 1:30 mins of timeloss. There are some 10-15 second timesaves around some parts of the run, but these are almost bound to happen, as some bot crashes are near impossible to predict without losing too much time avoiding them. Considering the difficulty and randomness of this category, its an absolutely incredible result. Sob is a 1:01:03, which is rediculously optimized, since i split on every single race so yea... i lost around 1:20 to major mistakes, 1:22 to sandy beaches overall, 16 explosions, 2 explosions attempting a trick, and fell out of a stage 6 times in total. Just to give a little perspective on how good this run was: there was a major mistake early on in season 2 race 4 where i lost 50 seconds to my gold split... Season 2 was still only 10 seconds off of my best pace ever, i have never gotten a sub 20 season 2 before. so despite losing 50 seconds in one race, it was still an insane start!
i think if youre really good at sandy beaches you can lose around 45 instead of 1:22 in total, 16 explosions are like 1:10 in total, maybe you can make that 30 at best with unavoidable bot crashes, falling out of the stage can be prevented completely, saving around 25 seconds ideally aswell.
so thats about 1:05:46 - 37 - 40 - 25 - 1:20 = 1:02:56 ish
Really wanna get sub 1:05 though.... I will grind whenever i have some time and one day i will hopefully get it together :)
1:03 is just kinda rediculous... You'd have to do no major mistakes and somehow get a run thats even cleaner. I think a dedicated player could get 1:03, but it'd be one hell of a run and would require a ton of attempts. (for me, 1:02 seems improbable right now. Maybe in the future somebody can proof me wrong, would love to see that tho. Technically it should be possible.

Update: a new improvement has been found. Due to multiple reasons, instead of just doing all races in order, doing them in a specific order, you can theoretically save just about 2 minutes over this runs method. If i'd be grinding for this category again, maybe i'd want a 1:01, it seems possible to do, it'd just take a lot of work. 1:00 is defenitly possible but extremely hard. Sub 1 would just be so rediculously hard that i don't even know at the current stage wether a human can even do it. (seriously its stupidly difficult right now) A 1:05 is still very good, considering the category was already brutal and now has gotten even harder to complete a clean run on. A sub 1 run is possible in theory. My sum of best with the new strats would probably be a very high 58 and its extremely optimized. Im pretty motivated to get a sub 1:05 now, it seems quite feasable and is currently the last large milestone that is possible.
