It seems easier to fly at original night scene as the enemy's spotlight harder to see at daytime 😄

I thought that Top Gun was inspired by Ace Combat, as this kind of mission is already there from early edition... as long as I remember, there's a canyon mission on Ace Combat 5 that you have to stay low in the canyon as there's a swarm of SAMs above ready to take you down

@@miawcatz have you tried this with a flight stick? using a Hotas makes it a whole new game. xbox has a decent one for 80$ i use a xbox one controller and flight stick.

It's called a psm (post stall maneuver) I'm lazy so I'll just tell you to search it up

reduce speed pull back speed up takes awhile to get down super useful when your out of flares and cant evade a missile

yup, it's the PSM - Post Stall Maneuver

That flip is specifically called the Kulbit maneuver, and it's a PSM like previously mentioned. To pull it off, you need to decrease your speed (can't really tell you when, but I use km/h and it kicks around 250. Anyways, once you get the stall warning). Once warned about stall, hold throttle and brakes (high-g turn) and left stick down. After a split second, more or less, let go of brakes while still accelerating and pitching up. Also, if you let go the left stick a split second after you let go of brakes while still accelerating, you will perform a Cobra.

hehe, I used weather mod to resemble the final mission in TGM movie 😄

I habitually fly full burner. So having experience from Ace Combat 04 onward for canyon runs and weaving through flak on full burn isn't too rough on me. I got the challenge even after letting off burner and did it at night in an f22. Didn't keep the movie altitude restrictions. Talking about the in game time challenge

It can’t be that hard to pass through it right? Just regulate speeds enough so you don’t smash into the rocks, abuse some high G movement (please don’t overdo it), and it should be a breeze. I did the mission multiple times with slow and A/B speeds with an F-22A, F-35C and F-15E Strike Eagle. P.S. I play on my PS4 so I use a controller.

@@saracrysis2851 but have you gotten the ace to spawn? I believe you must reach the base within 1min 45sec of mission start to have Gadfly spawn.

@@saracrysis2851 part of the challenge is to match the ceiling in the movie. They weren’t allowed to fly over 150 meters.

yes it's the mission 14 - cape rainy assault.... too bad the maverick pack only gave us the TGM skins and not the canyon run bombing mission. though there's mission 13 Bunker Buster resemble the bombing mission in the movie

Ah that's awesome man! I think I may need to get me the maverick pack in the near future as after them 5th gen aircraft for pvp 😁
