Thanks for this video, very well accumulated & exhaustive information. Will definitely help me with my research for a good programmes along with deadlines!
hi! Thanks a lot for this video! It was very systematic and informative. I'm a computer science undergrad student planning to ahead for a masters in hci. Will reach out to you on linkedin for more guidance.Thank you!
Amazing video with a lot of information which I needed much. Also I want to request you that can you share some of the good universities of UK as well for HCI or Ui/Ux masters. Like I am an IT pass out self taught Ui/ux designer with a year of professional experience and thinking to study deep in this field. It would be super helpful to compare Canada and UK universities for that.
I am an electronics and communication engineering student right now and I'm planning to do a master's in HCI. where I have no design background so can you do a detailed video on what all courses and steps we should take and learn to be pros in this field before admitting in the graduate program
Any affordable University in Australia to Do Msc in HCI or UI/ UX related Msc Subject? Any video on this topic? Which University are offering currently any relatable course in Australia?
I have one more request. Can you please make a video on some average colleges that have masters in ux programs? Because I have an electronics and communications engineering degree with 7 months of experience in TCS. Out of interest I have done 2 projects, read design of everyday things, don't make me think by Steve krug and I hope those are enough to get me into a decent clg.
@@princevasimalla Not yet :) Had to drop my plans for something else bcos of circumstances. Though I am in touch with Azzy, he's going for his masters soon :)
Hi, I don't know why the link says it doesn't work. I'm pasting it here again for the Slack channel: join.slack.com/t/earlyeducator-ceh6047/shared_invite/zt-wnh4re9z-~fzUfF~j_qgI4iJOoz5gdw
I am a Computer science engineering student right now and i'm planning to do masters in HCI. Is there a good chance of me getting accepted in a US university given that I have no design background?
Hey! Very informative video! I received an admit to the ms in hci program in IUPUI with a very good scholarship.... what’s your opinion on the hci program at IUPUI?
Hi, Indiana University is definitely a renowned place to be at. Congrats on your admit! It seems focussed on interaction design and UI design. If your interest is aligned on the design side of things, seems like a good fit!
Depends on what easy is - for someone who has a good education in Design, the program should be easy to get into. This is based on the students they intake, alumni background, etc
I have already done MCA in 2013 amn I am planning to apply for MS with specialization in HCI. What are the chances of getting the admission in usa? And is there any chance for fall intake if I apply now(most of the uni. deadline has passed) or should I wait and apply for spring intake?
Hey I think you should wait and build a strong profile bcoz most deadlines have passed and I think you should focus on mid level colleges if you're looking into US
For the MI at UofT, it's only once a year for fall admissions but there are other programs that offer applications twice a year too. You might wanna check the MEng and MSc program details
@@SharmaJiiAman Oh okay. If you wanna pursue an MS in HCI/UX, it's advised that you have a Bachelors in Design itself. But even if you are from CSE background, I've seen people get admits
Hi, good catch! I intentionally didn't include HCDE program here because it's aimed as a part time program for working professionals. I've compared the two programs at UWash and found HCID relevant for students. Hope this helps!
Hi ! Thanks a lot for the video. I am a 3rd year student currently pursuing B.Tech in computer science. I am planning to do masters in HCI / UX . I sent you a request on LinkedIn , if you connect for more guidance that will be a great help. Thank you
@shitiz Hello brother, I am also a 3rd year student currently doing undergrad in CS. Could I connect with you on discord? Would be great to discuss about future career plans regarding HCI. Thank you :)
