Hey Jedha the second after Venom fell over during that pose, the video for me immediately jumped to an advertisement. All I heard in my head at that point was “We’ll be right back after these messages” in your voice.

Man… I LOVE! that box art. Probably the first time I’ve ever been so hyped for box art of any figured.

Sideshow and Dragon used to do that tray insert with their figures boxes back in the day. Haven't seen it in a while. There hasn't been a spider emblem on the movie Venom, so there won't be one on this figure. (people keep forgetting this is a movie character not a comic character) Interesting figure.

This figure is not worth over $450. A lot of risk in my opinion with the rubber material, it doesn't have a proper stand to hold the size and weight and already has damaged on the leg once you manipulate the figure. It has shelf prescence but I prefer to spend my money in other figures. Good video as always ✌

Man I couldn’t stop laughing when it fail but that pose is epic ! I really want this Venom but I’m holding out for the White Spider on his chest and The web shooters on the back of his hands. Great video !

Honestly I want this figure! But The body material just makes me nervous for over time! Venom does look awesome though!

As awesome as the figure is, I think I am going to go for the Premium Format statue. I guess it will depend how the carnage figure looks when it drops. Awesome video!!

Thanks for the great review! I just bought my first Hot Toys figure (Tony Stark Avengers Team suit) on EBay, and I’m having an issue with the included stand. It looks like the correct stand and base from pictures I’ve found online, but the end of the stand that slots into the base seems like it’s too big for the slot as it won’t fit at all. Are they supposed to be very hard to put together and take a lot of force, or are there sometimes factory defects? I’m just trying to figure out if I was given the wrong stand for the base. I’ve been ignored by the seller, unfortunately. Thanks for your help!

Great honest review brother! I picked up the Bullet Head 3rd party Venom figure for my Sam Raimi Spiderman display and it's still an awesome figure! I think Hot Toys would have been better off going with a similar material to cover the body, I personally can't see the rubber they have used lasting very long and the clearly visible shoulder and hip joints are very off putting ( toy like ) for the price point I would have hoped for better! So this one's not for me but I can see it going for crazy prices on the secondary market in the not too distant future 😁 have fun 😎

if you have the Hot Toys Carnage figure, please make a review video asap. Really hope to see the Carnage Ryan, near the same height as Juggernaut, but slender body and longer legs. Maybe it can be useful to make a custom Robert Wadlow’s figure

This figure has the right size for a 1/6 Space Marine. I hope someone get to make them. Although that stand looks perfect for a Primarch.

There's one at my local comic book store. And he's been there for a few months. It's a cool figure, but not enough for me to get. Not quite what I collect.

Top runner up figures of the year are gonna be Heavy Armoured Mando & Hellboy BUT if it gets released on time, the top figure of the year won't be HT but Asmus' Ash Williams hands down (no pun intended)

Upside to the exclusive is you can use any of the tendrils on venompool! So he can get “a little head”

I don’t love how obviously separated the joints are from the body. The head sculpts are perfect but man…meh.

Man it's happening again.. just like my Hot Toys Aliens out of the box after being opening and closing the rubber mouth.. Hot Toys doesn't know how to seal their paint apps over rubber.

The Venom Hot Toys looks great. I am not picking it up. I am a big Venom fan.

The only Venom I care for was around their first appearance ASM #300 & a short time after. The nenacing grin & exaggerated eyes were perfect Once they added the tongue, drool, massive fangs & overdid the edges around the eyes? 🤮🤢

It looks pretty good. I think this is one you have to see personally to appreciate. On video, the impressive parts are the headsculpts. Everything else looks just ok. Nothing bad just nothing breathtaking IMO.

In buisness terms this is just in time for the holidays

I don't like hot toys because of these reasons: •Size - I'm more of a 6 inch collector •Material - whatever they use it seems to not be as the 6 inches and its more of a cloth type material? At least from what I've seen so far •Articulation - The articulation compared to any of the other figures, especially Mafex, amazing yamaguchi and sh figuarts, is just missing and idk why •Price - They are expensive, around 500€ here on Amazon, which is alot for a figure like this, sure u hit looks good, but the other points I listed all speak against it •(Extra) Size of this compared to Haslab's - Those go off for 500€, similar to hasbro's Haslab figures, which are BIGGER and imo have better articulation, meaning they're more price worthy. That's just my opinion tho, I know that alot of people love the hot toys figures, it's just that I prefer articulated and 6 inch figures, the looks on those are great tho!
