9:09 Well... You´re not allowed to do whatever you want in nature. You´re allowed to walk around and pick berries, flowers and mushrooms, and to put up a tent, but you´re not allowed not to close to someones house. Some flowers (like lily of the vally, mistletoe, cowslip) are protected, and you are not allowed to pick those. You´re not allowed to pick eggs or chop down trees. In some areas you need a licens to fish. So there are a bunch of rules. But basically you´re free to enjoy nature, as long as you protect and take care of it, and treat it with a lot of respect. There shouldn´t be a trace that you´ve been there. You probably know all this, I´m just clarifying for some of the readers who might not know.
Just get subscribed an hour ago, i love your topic, I'm from Africa and I'm married to an Italian man , I moved in Italia 23 months ago, and it's almost the same here, more reserved people.. not like in Africa! But love is the most important things we have for facing a new world far from home😍😍😍
English is the language for business, therefore most Europeans learn English as a second language. Punctuality is also business, hence, "time is money". Less physical money is better for people from different countries. You don't have to change money, just pay with your card. Not showing emotions comes from not letting your enemies get the best of you. Keep 'em guessing. After being in or close to war, one learns about cleanliness for good health. Education is key in dealing with the world. Sweden is a wealthy, independent country.
Kem, you did a good job speaking talking about your experience and knowledge Swedish customs & benefits. Loved the old church as well. Keep warm and enjoy the time you have left with Alex!!!
Girl from one Jamaican to another you had me nervous watching you and your head not covered Oy! As cold as it can get here in New Jersey, Swedish winters are brutal. Thanks for sharing some facts about Sweden. That was very interesting to know and yes I have heard about the cashless system. Good luck to Alex with his exams. Here’s hoping that you can both return back to the sweet Jamaican sunshine soon. God bless you both.
Yes you're absolutely right. The socioeconomic life in SWEDEN , FINLAND, DENMARK is great. I was in these countries on a tour and was quite impressed. You'll get adjusted to the weather. Just dress appropriately. I migrated to NYC many years ago. I don't know if I could adjust to Jamaican life again
I live in Maryland USA and you can only get alcohol at the liquor store. I moved to Maryland from NY where we could get alcohol in the grocery store so I was really surprised. Maryland boarders with Virginia and Virginia have liquor in the grocery store as well. Every state in the US have different laws.
Even though cold, you seem to assimilate well😊... Interesting facts, I’m tempted to move from the US to Sweden.. And funny thing one of my good friends here, is from Norway. Loved the video!! Blessings my fellow Yardie 🇯🇲
I understand exactly what you mean about needing the sun and warmth. I'm Jamaican. I have lived in very cold climates. Canada to New York to London. I was never truly happy; simply because of the weather. I would start getting depressed at the beginning of Fall and stayed unhappy until Spring. It is called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). I was constantly longing for my "sun-ott". So I moved to Florida. I love every minute of it. The best of both worlds. Live in the U.S. with Jamaican weather. And the ironic part is, Winter is my favorite season in Florida! But I do hope you find happiness wherever you decide to settle down. You are a beautiful and humble couple.
I am so glad I found your channel. As one Jamaican to another who has lived in Sweden for 6months for a student exchange and probably going back to study, It would be great if I can keep in touch with you. When I was there I couldn't find another Jamaican :(.
Usually in Gothenburg. I can give you my Instagram so we can keep in touch. Because I tried to click the link to your Instagram but it wasn’t working . And when I tried searching it , I didn’t find it. My Instagram is @shauntelangelica ... hopefully I hear from you soon! Finding you and your channel is such a blessing!
Thanks 🙏🏿 for the informative video. To be in that cold is true ❤️❤️.. hopefully Alex got some good studies in. Free education and free medical is amazing! I wish we have this here in the 🇺🇸. As a 🇯🇲 born I do understand the laid back lifestyle.. I too had to learn about being prompt. I truly had to adjust. Great 👍🏾 vlog
Higher education institutions used to be free in the UK but now people used to get money from the government and pay the money back after they complete their studies
Enjoyed your video. Baby girl, bundle up with gloves and a hat. I was born in Belize but lives in California so I know about Change of climate. Hope Alex do good on his exam. Enjoy and love each other.
You can enjoy the cold if you are dressed properly. Please wear earmuffs, warm head covering and gloves when you are outdoors. Your coat seems to have a hood that you could have used to protect your head. You will get sick if you do not wear the proper attire. If head, hands and feet are not protected you will be chilled to the bones also make sure your coat is very warm. As a fellow Jamaican who for almost 40 years has lived in an extremely cold and snowy area of Canada. I am able to enjoy the winters because I am always dressed warmly for it. Enjoy your new life and stay warm.
Hi Alex and Kem i adore you guys so much, just started watching your channel qlatelt my sister-in-law introduced me and i don't regret it.I am impressed and i love everything .I hope to visit Sweden one of these fine day.Stay Strong God bless
My son is on a tour of Scandinavia (Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland) for 3 weeks as part of a photo expedition. He’s an aspiring filmmaker and he’s basically shooting the aurora borealis (northern lights) from different countries. You’re prettying much enforcing the things he’s been telling the last couple weeks. Oh we are Canadians As a family, We like going to Reykjavik and Blue Lagoon. It’s excellent that you’re learning so much about Sweden and the surrounding areas
@Marcia🤗🤗🤗❤️. I know what you mean. Call home very sick because I would not listen to my friends. I am so accustomed to bathing two a day because I live where it is very hot day and night
Please take care of yourself and think about taking D3 supplements. I hope you find happiness and love from everyone in Sweden when you move there 😊, which I hope is soon...but keep posting💛
We Swedes are reserved as f**k, that I will not deny. But if you want to befriend a Swede, you need only to do two of these things. Or in my case, preferably both. And that's to treat the Swede with a fika, with coffee blacker than Norwegian crude oil and freshly baked cinnamon bun. Or you talk about the luck we all have with the current weather, preferably over a fika... med kask. :-)
I have been watching you and Alex just realize you are from my area where I grew up in Buff Bay. Went to Ms Jump school as well. Love you and for sharing everything I can relate being a Portlander.😊
What yuh not saying being paid to go to school ...free health care?? 1 1/2 year paid leave for BOTH mom and dad!!?? No sah Sweden sound nice man ..learnt a lot thanks kem stay warm
@@IamBrendaMarie the taxes are to level up incomes, they are not needed for funding when one has one's own currency sovereignty. Beardsley Ruml showed this in the 1940s!
It’s cold and you need a hat on your pretty little head.....I just found your channel yesterday and I have a question. What made you move from Jamaica to Sweden??? Are there any negatives to living there besides the folks not being very friendly???
Always love the country, was not able to visit. My information about we Jamaician that we love to travel or read about far away places. I have travel to Italy,& England,USA.l love your vlog about your visit to Spain
Just stared watching your videos. I am Jamaican🇯🇲. You are a cute couple. I pray you will grow old together. My girl, I hope you can take advantage ofnthe free ed there. Wish you all the best. Blessings.
Yeah you’re right. But for example when a cancer treatment in Jamaica can cost a year’s salary, one can say Sweden has “free” healthcare, and one can say “free” here in sweden most often to let a non Swede understand how ridiculously cheap it is compared to what they could pay in their own country.
@@KemAlexVlogs I get it. I am not arguing against you, I am just clarifying. You have a better understanding of Sweden than most people who move to/visit Sweden.
Wonderful opportunities await you….seems like a wonderful opportunity for you as a woman….Sweden is beautiful…Schooling free…wow…stay there in Sweden and take advantage of the educational opportunities…..good luck…🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I met a guy from Sweden.. His name was Lars.. Really sweet guy. He is in his 70,s..im in my 60,s...south African, still look like 40years...he was really kind, we did allot of video calls, but lost contact... I was planning to go to visit him.. But im still hoping to find him😕
I've been to Sweden, Gothenburg and thought it was expensive too but, when I came to the Cayman Islands I realise it is the number 1 most expensive country in the world...now dropped to number 2😒 which doesn't help 😢...but, good to see this video...I haven't been to Sweden in a few years...
Hi Kem...so wonderful and appreciative of you, appreciating your partner's Country, good for you... they are a wonderful loving family.. Well done 👍🏽... you're love by beautiful people... Love and blessings for you all ❤️❤️❤️🌞🙏🏽...
I never wanted to live anywhere away from Jamaica than the USA. Everywhere else sounds like I would have a hard time adjusting. Pretty interesting that my country people is just everywhere on this planet. My next move is Ghana.
So where u guys going to live in the future Jamaica, Sweden, Spain ❤here in Canada one has to be 19 years old to drink and the liquor store's is open everyday😲
