This is so cute! I wore this style on a daily basis for a couple of years back in 2016..2017. It grew my hair too. You do not need a bunch of hair pinscor to sew anything... you can skip that! My natural bun was about the same as hers or maybe a lil thicker. Once you start wrapping the bun, it tightens and literally secures itself. This style with braid hair can work with hair in its narural state or straight. Only difference is you need more gel when its not straight. It can last you at least 4 or 5 days if you tie it up at night. I would spritz it with a few sprays of conditioner water on day 2 before wrapping it up at night. Thats my go to style.
U can achieve this style without using any thread. I use a black hair tie to put my hair in a ponytail. Then I use a few rubber bands to put it into a smaller bun. Then wrap the fake hair around it and secure with bobby pins.
Usually when you go to hair stores they can tell you, just specify what you want to do with the hair but also there are more detailed videos out where women tell what type of hair to purchase
Honestly i'm so tired of braiding my hair, i am planning to just relax it and wear it out so its not even a coincidence that your videos are randomly popping up giving me ideas of styles for when i go through with it
