Random Thought:
Why are egg noodles so tricky? Used them in a crockpot meal yesterday and I couldn't tell if they were slightly gummy and not done enough - or too done. Turns out I think they were way over done. Gonna do them separately on the stove next time. That concludes my VERY random thought.

I heard a screech owl. Sounded like a female yelling help. What a funny sight I must have been running out of my house to save a female in danger. LOL. But relieved when it was just an owl. I didn't know that. My husband who came out running after me couldn't contain his laughter trying to tell me what it was.

I am so sorry, Kirstie! I know how hard it is to lose dear pets... they really are part of the family. You know how kids age 3-5 blurt out a lot of random nonsense, and then occasionally they say something really profound? Shortly after my dear cat Baker passed away, I remember one of the girls telling me - it's ok mommy, she's our angel now. So whenever I have that sad feeling of missing her, I remember that she's an angel. Sending you all my love

The start of September for me signals fall. I live in Texas so we get hot weather for quite a while (fall weather is usually a couple weeks at best) but that won’t stop me from putting out fall decor!!! I’m not really a pumpkin flavor person unless it’s Starbucks pumpkin bread. I’m the kind of person that says give me Apple everything!!! Hope your fall season is off to a great start!

I have mornings Doves and they sound similar to Owls when we first moved out here (very rural) from the City 24 yrs ago I was blown away at just how silent it is overnight and in early mornings until our little Village wakes up , we only have 64 residents in our tiny Village it’s a nice mix of older people and young couples with kids. My first fall mornings I heard the noise I thought oh it’s my Doves go outside and it was the biggest most majestic Owl I’ve ever seen to this day.

I'm so glad you've been featuring the origninal Wet n Wild photofocus foundation because that product is excellent and somewhat under the radar in comparison to it's dewy cousin. The staying power is excellent and the finish is so natural and pretty. And the covererage it offers is fantastic too. It is one of my favorites and I have a small drawer of choices! Can't beat the price either. I just swipe the paddle on the back of my hand and take it from there with a brush. Easy peasy application.

OMG, YES! Been raving about the new Cinderella since it came out! I love that they somehow built a storyline for the other characters! And the songs are the freaking AWESOME!!! Also, I've read that if you can't remember your dream, it must've been a nightmare. Your brain automatically erases them once you wake so when you remember a bad dream its not a nightmare but just a bad dream. ^_^

Dream expert here. I’ve gotten to the point that I can wake up and quasi continue the dream. Quasi, meaning I consciously remember what I was dreaming, the way I am feeling, while conscious. A between state of dream/reality. It helps me process the content and identify themes and I feel that my awareness is heightened.

Sephora has an 8 ounce size of the hair and body mist - it’s fabulous!! We also have an owl who lives in the trees behind us and he/she hoots every evening at dusk and then again in the morning. I am so blessed to catch it almost daily

We have kookaburras and magpies in the trees opposite our house in Australia and often hear their calls at dawn and dusk. Wildlife sounds are very soothing and special. Owls are very cute.

What's fun is listening for the pattern of the owl"s "hoots" (almost like Morse code) & then going online to figure out what kind of owl it is based on the pattern. I was able to do this a couple of years ago by listening to recordings of owls commonly found in my area & comparing to the patterns I'd heard. It's really a fun little project! 🦉 "Hoot-hoot-hoot, hooooot! Hoot-hoot-hoot!" ☺️🍃🍁🍂🍃

I love owls. We don't have a lot around our house because there are actually quite a few hawks and they sort of took over the neighborhood, so the owls appear to have moved on elsewhere. I would rather that wake me up than snoring! 😂 I am ready for all the fall things and fall looks, even though it is going to be 80 degrees today. Haha.

Ever had one of those days where nothing goes right? That’s why I watch Emily, a POSITIVE inspiration so I thank you! I’m no dream expert as I have a sleep disorder so I don’t dream very much but YES, I can relate to the dream where you wake up and remember ONLY the feeling of what you were dreaming about, sometimes positive and sometimes scary or just plain weird and can set your tone for the day & for the life of me I can never remember what brought those feelings! (That’s not why I’ve had a bad day, however). LOVE me some WNW! All their products are the right price and stay put on my oily aging skin. I need to get back into makeup in general! Wow, how Covid made me lazy. I’ll take lazy over sick any day. So glad I took the vaccine and as an RN, I know better than to not get it. I’m heading over to your other WNW video even though I’m pretty sure I’ve watched it! Thanks for being my inspiration for makeup and living life’s headache with such positivity! Oh and I love reading your thought for the day AND random thought! Never stop doing that! It’s a great finish to a makeup review! And NO, it’s not to early for Fall! Yes the grande serum probably got into your eye. I use it and if I apply too much or just get a little careless it will get into my eye and it will irritate it. Also grande works but after you get them as long as you want you have to keep using it at least a couple times a week to keep the length.

So odd you mentioned One Tree Hill. A friend told me about it today. She went to where it was filmed and one of her professors at college lived across the street from the writer of it. I have never watched it. The dream thing is on point too. Have a blessed day!

I have been loving the wet n wild matte photo focus foundation. It looks so good on my skin. So many people complained about the smell, but to me it smells like paint just like Mac studio fluid fix. It really reminds me of that Mac foundation. I don’t know why no one else talks about it. I guess out with the old in with the new. I remember nude awakening being a fave years ago, but seeing it in new packaging it just looks more appealing. I need to get that palette. I’m all about burgundy eyeshadow.

I’ve been using grande lash serum for the last 2 months, my eyelashes have at least doubled in length. I’m so impressed, it works fantastic.

I love the wet & wild matte. I have extremely dry skin and I have been searching for a foundation. By accident I got the matte & well I tried it anyway & it looks absolutely beautiful. I was so surprised, but so happy

Nothing wrong with simpler looks. I get up at 4:30 to go to work. I don’t have time for elaborate ones on me. I also want easy to apply but impactful and long lasting ones.

Owlette, that is adorable…..I love the Hourglass powders in general. They’re very forgiving to my dry, maturing skin. I have the elf bite sized blush in spiced apple. Such a gorgeous shade! I think that’s my fave out of the bite sized blushes. The Mac lipstick is such a pretty shade. If I purchase I’ll use your links of course. I think if you have school aged children, fall begins when school starts. My kids are grown now but that’s always been the unofficial start of fall for me. Oh the dream thing has definitely happened to me before! It's such an odd feeling waking up and knowing your dream was weird, but you can't remember the details. This video was super lovely! Watching your videos is always so cozy and relaxing. I was wondering if you were planning to pick up any of the newer Buxom fall lip glosses? They have I think four of them - two are pumpkin scented and two are French vanilla latte scented!
