I was asked some questions in my previous interviews, 1. Adani Realty. What are the points given in your Pour card, and Reinforcement checklist ? What do you check in concrete? What happens if 7 & 28 days results appears to be failed ? What if NDT also failed ? What if cut core is failed in compression as well ? Its a slab ..can we break it ? There are 2 other slab over it ...what will you do ? What is soil compaction ? What are the methods ? how much it is required ? > 95 % of what value ? 2. Hiranandani In what terms a skyscraper is different from a regular building apart from its safety precautions and foundation. Why use SCB and not AAC block at certain area and what is the strength of SCB ? What was the cement content of your last used concrete, what was the highest grade of concrete you've worked with ? How slump is different from flow ? What are the reasons for a pipeline choke-up? 3. L&T (my current company) How VDF and Tremix ..mis there any difference among them ? What is the procedure of VDF ? Whats the average thickness of it ? Can you pour during rain ? If no...how are you going to treat the cold joints if the rain remains continued for hours ? If yes..what are the precautions you'll take ? What is a NCR ? Is there any Difference between Observation and NCR ? What makes a NCR different from an Observation ? What are the causes of raising an NCR ? Can a Observation become a NCR ? What is the closing period of a NCR ? 4. Lodha What is QMS ? What will you do if labours are not listening to you (as a quality engineer) ? Can you give training to labours ? Can site engineers be also given training ? What is your power as a Quality Er ? Whats your purpose to be deployed on site ? What is a slab cycle ? What is your current structure's span area ? Why are you not married yet (27) ? 5. Eversendai What is concrete made up of ? As per IS 456 2000, what is the main purpose of concrete ? .. I've forgot many questions. 6. Leighton Describe complete process of footing ? Why to do dewatering ? Whay are the points to taken care of while doing a trench work and checking ? Can't recall..many questions.. Hope this help, its based on my interview throughout the years. Also i have given many small comapny interviews ..they ask very basic questions..so not mentioning it here.
