@@dao_of_the_gamer4084 it seems with our shiny boys the more the merrier! Even the sneaky ones are built (only work well) with more than five shots, sadly.
i use 3x lokhust destroyers for action monkeys together with some flayed ones. it's way cheaper than having some weird almost 100 pts character running around doing the action with almost the same durability
So I’ve got 180 points to spend on action units in Hypercrypt, what’s the best combo between Hexmark, Deathmarks, and Tomb Blades? The rest of the list has the usual suspects with Wraiths + Tech, Void Dragon, Monolith, Immortals + Plas, Scorp Lord + Skorps, Imotekh + LG, and 4 LHD’s.
The utility of the Flayed Ones is having them block other infiltrators from blocking your Tomb Blade's scout movement. One of each are going into all my lists.
One thing I tried with good results was the feel no pain 4+ enhancement on the Command Barge so it has 4+ inv 4+ feel no pain and -1 to wound if higher strength with 10 inch move and Lord's Blade.
I run 18 scarabs in my annihilation legion list....with illuminor and 3 units of flayed ones I find it more than enough to complete 90% of secondaries.
@Planet40K I play tournaments, so everything. Beat orks last week at a tournament 100 to 30, if you screen out right and set up counters with my 3 units of skorpekh and skorpekh lords. Or set up with my 6 lokust destroyers.you clear cut enemy units. Everyone looks down on my list, until they are tabled by turn 3. it has put me in the top 3 at the last 3 tournaments.
You mentioned how the the changes to the pistols in respect to doing actions, can you explain in a little more detail what your mean, and the change that occurred?

I don’t think we should dismiss scarabs personally… not as a sole solution but partnered up with the wraiths with their technomancers they can double up as action monkeys or screens… edit: and deathmarks I like too
Just curious why you didn't mention Ophydian Destroyers? With their innate pick up and deep strike shouldn't they be pretty high on the list? Especially if not using Hypercrypt?
I still think Ophydian Destroyers are great of you arent playing Hypercrypt. 180 points for two units that are solely used to bounce around the board are quite nice although im not sure if the Pariah Changes have affected them in any way. Right now im curious to see if we can get decent value out of Tank Shock Ghost Arks. Maybe put a Royal Warden in one or two and just crash them into the front lines while the Wardens pop out and do an action? Maybe even a Skorpekh Lord with the 4+++ enhancement in Awakened Dynasty.
