I’m debating between Flower Mound vs Frisco
@VIPRealty

That's a tough one.. However, I'd choose Frisco.

@@VIPRealty why would you chose Frisco?. Am having the same debate too. Seems many businesses are coming to Frisco and would cause the place to get so crowded.

@@zia7586 Frisco is growing and with good reason. It's one of the best suburbs in DFW.

Hi excellent video. Don't take me wrong. Amazing houses. But. I am looking for something not too big and low maintenance. Just my wife and I. What do you recommend if I'll be working in Flower Mound?

Depends on your needs. Do you want to live in Flower Mound? Or is neighboring city ok

@@albertorincon2549 lol. Lewisville would be a good option too. Just depends on your budget.

Is there really just no green grass in Texas? Like what the heck?! every video and picture of every lawn.. all the grass is dead.

He's probably filming in winter, notice the nice short-sleeved shirt.

Water is expensive*...over 3 times the cost of what we are paying in NY. Like any other place, sewer adds double to your water bill (costs double your water usage). Here in Flower Mound, water usage during Dec to Feb determines your sewer rate for the rest of the year. Therefore, during these months, people avoid watering their lawns. The lawns don't die...they brown...they go into hibernation. They quickly recover once rain falls or watering is started up. I never water my lawn in my NY estate...so no sprinkler system either. There is enough natural rainfall, moderate weather, and lower temperatures that it simply isn't necessary there. The grass is green and plush throughout the spring/summer/fall (technically in the winter too even if it is covered in snow). Here in Flower Mound, it is quite different. You need a sprinkler system to maintain your lawn. I am still trying to figure out optimal settings for mine. During the recent heatwave/drought (D3...almost hit the worst D4), I increased the system to 100% (from 50%). * My water bill for Aug was over $1200. Yes, you read that right...over twelve hundred dollars...for water for one month. Not surprisingly, my lawn was green while many lawns outside my community were brown.
