I won't be surprised if Maurice Sam is a half cast because my God! His English is amazing and topnotch. No mistakes while he's in a movie role. He's good, real good, I swear❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You tell a Nigerian, whose father is Nigerian, that they are not Nigerian???? I think there's a lot of ignorance being exhibited here. If you're born in Nigeria, you are Nigerian. If one or both of your parents or grand parents are Nigerian and you were born outside of Nigeria then you're a Nigerian. If you naturalize and take up Nigerian citizenship then you are a Nigerian. If you have Nigerian in your DNA you're very welcomed to be Nigerian.
Thank you! I was so confused when she listed one of the parents as Nigerian but went on to say they are not Nigerians. I, therefore, thought maybe it works differently in Nigeria.
Actually, being born in Nigeria does not automatically confer citizenship. One or both of your parents have to be Nigerian or your grandparents (if they were living in a community in the Nigerian territory before October 1, 1960). If you're born to 2 persons who are not citizens of Nigeria or who were not born to parents who lived in Nigeria before October 1 1960, you are not a Nigerian. To be a Nigerian, in that case, you would have to seek citizenship by registration (naturalization). The famous British actor Hugo Weaving was born in UCH Ibadan, but that didn't make him a Nigerian. Please see Section 26 of the CFRN 1999 (as amended) for the veracity of what I just said. Nigeria is not one of the countries that confers automatic citizenship on the basis of being born there.
This term 'half caste' is an outdated and derogatory term...we must do better as melanated people. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made... Let's ditched labels assigned by our colonial masters. As a Nollywood movies lover, your efforts are appreciated❤
You're the one reading stupid meanings to it. And why don't you just completely drop English too .. since it's one of the things the "colonial masters" left for you??
Please never call anyone half caste. It is one of the most derogatory phrases ever. The modern term to use is “they are mixed race” or “persons of mixed heritage”.
Title is misleading. Some of these actors are mixed (Nigerian and another nationality) some are fully Ghanaian who had featured in Nollywood movies. Also I doubt there’s anyone who didn’t know that for example John Dumelo is Ghanaian
Let's get it real, most of them are black when the situation is needed. They will tell you that they are not black as if it is degrading to be the most dynamic color when God created the black man and woman. Fact!
Too Sweet Annan is Ghanaian Enoch Darko is Ghanaian John Dumelo is Ghanaian Juliet Ibrahim is Ghanaian Eddie Watson is Ghanaian Yvonne Nelson is Ghanaian Van Vicker is Ghanaian Jackie Appiah is Ghanaian Chris Attoh is Ghanaian Majid Mitchel is Ghanaian Yvonne Okoro is Ghanaian Mawuli Gavor is Ghanaian Whether or not they're half, they're Ghanaians. We love them
@@AdannayaJoyBenjaminher mom is Ghanaian , born and raised in Ghana . Her dad is Nigerian hence the surname but when u read more on citizenship we won’t have to argue She knows she’s 50/50 but she identifies more as a Ghanaian
The thing shocked me😂😂 I was like "what is Maurice doing in the picture" then I said to myself that maybe he is a Nigerian-Cameroonian halfcast or Togolese-nigerian halfcast 😂😂
So far as one or both of your parents comes from a particular country especially the father you are a child of that country. How can somebody's especially father come from Nigeria but the person is not a Nigerian????
Just because you were not born in Nigeria does not mean you don't have Nigerian blood. I was born in America but my Ancestry DNA and African Ancestry proves I have African blood, Nigerian blood is in my Ancestry. United States in the state of California and my Ancestry say I am 77% Western African from various countries and 23% European from countries around Scotland, Wales,etc..
Hmmm 🤔 I notice a lot love Lebanons! 🎥Oh okay I wondered about Adunni & Sophie! 🎥Never seen the Claire girl. She doesn’t seem talented. 🎥Eddie was Ghanaian I thought. 🎥Ramsey was the first who got me hooked on Nollywood movies! 🎥Van Vicker is like twin to Ramsey lol 😂! 🎥❤Chris!! 🔥 He’s a great actor! 🎥Maluwi resembles Tubi actor LaMastor Sterling!!! This video was super informative & good!!! ❤
Na Ghana blogger be this , we are not trying to drag any Ghanaian actor to be Nigerian o , Abeg o,. 😂 thank u our Ghana junior brother we love u guys regardless
Do not be stupid,we don’t have your time,I guess you dumb or something because Ghanaians don’t talk like this sir or madam, next time before you come for us bring evidence, everything Ghana Ghana tsw
Almost all the nigerian actors and actresses are from my country Ghana. But there are developing the nigerian industries leaving their own Ghallywood behind. If all these people mentioned here come come together with many others who were not mentioned here, they can also raise the Ghana Movie Industry to the up like where Nollywood is now and even beyond that. IF YOU ARE A GHANAIAN AND YOU LIKE THIS POST, LET ME SEE YOUR 👍👍👍
They're leaving Ghallywood behind because you pay.. 😢😜🙄🎥😩😂 Nollywood is the biggest pay in West Africa that's you see Ghanaians 🇬🇭are running to Nigerians to allow them to act in our movie una don fall since eyaaa😅💔🇳🇬
If one's father is african for example nigerian in this case, that only makes someone nigerian because of his or her father since in africa we belong mostly to father's roots. So you can't say they are not nigerians. May be mixed races
So many errors😒. Dear blogger please if someone’s father is a Nigerian and the mother is from another country that person is a Nigerian you can’t say the person is from the mothers country, get it right 😒
True dear. Those that have parents from Nigeria and from other parts are mixed races apart from those who don't have any Nigerian blood, those are not nigerians
Oh please once you have a Jamaican father or Mother or anyone who is Jamaican you are Jamaican that why mi love my Island out of many one people we are one. A time African should united and stop this division that the reason the West won all the time, it really surprising that you have to get a visa to travel each African Country and you all are African it just crazy cant unite as one.
Can the hostes of this blog, slow down when speaking. I believe you want your followers to listen and hear what you're saying. It's somewhat off putting the way you're racing with your words. Thank you
Nollywood actually , welcome all talented actors ( africans, non africans etc ) they don't do Xenophobia . And they are 3rd ,after Hollywood and Bollywood . Forward Nollywood to create one africa .
