Welcome to the official Laver Cup RU-vid channel. Laver Cup Vancouver 2023 runs from September 22-24 at Rogers Arena. The tournament takes place for the sixth time and features some of the best players in the world. Björn Borg captains Team Europe, consisting of Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, Gael Monfils, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Arthur Fils. John McEnroe captains Team World, consisting of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Francisco Cerundolo and Ben Shelton. Team Europe’s vice captain is Thomas Enqvist and Team World’s vice captain is Patrick McEnroe. Team World are the reigning champions after winning at London 2022.

No one even came to know that the Laver cup started. That's how much interest tennis suffers when the best players are not around!

Team World, baby! Can't believe the ignorant comments from people who didn't even watch full matches & just want to hate on players who aren't their faves. Tennis isn't just about the Big 3, so give it a rest & enjoy the gameplay. This year was great. Laver Cup is so much fun to watch & the players really brought it. If people are rooting for your failure, you must be doing something right.

Spot on. Lots of sour grapes comments from Europe backers who only think tennis revolves around Alcaraz and Djokovic. Fact is Europe got spanked plain and simple. Even last year they had their top players and still lost.

Everyone was missing overheads: Fils, Monfils, Shelton, FAA (twice), Tiafoe, etc. It was so funny!

Why most of the points are from first few games of the matches? It's like editor selected 1-2 winners iff first 10 minutes and left home early.

Nothing against these players but what is the point of the Laver Cup when all the best players are absent, for me the only highlight this year was Roger Federer.

Why is the first point a top point ? 😂 Is like the most standard tennis point possible. Open with serve, go in with forehand, volley to the empty space.

I will say it again, hope McEnroe sees it. Its condescending to have EU vs the World. They teams should be divided based on Continents.

It has to be EU vs world. ATP and Davis cup shows the power of European countries vs others. Canada and US have better players now that earlier but still not as many as say Russia, Spain, Italy.

@@utkarshdeshmukh6414 I unerstand why they did this. Seems like a money maker using our emotions to see all tehse players in one place. Davis cup started the same way. But Laver cup could have been better by using teams from 5 if not 7 continents. EU still has better players. But Russia is in Asia also, so Medvedev and Rublev can be requested by the World team.

@@got2bjosh I've seen some matches and I know there were a lot more better points. That's why I just wonder why they would put a video like this online, looks like they didn't put much effort in it..

@@samudravisions Correct, I watched every match & no they did not. Even for the Team World video, they stopped at Fritz & didn't really include doubles as much & left out the final, post ceremony, exhibition match on Day 3 which Team World also won.

A lotta of racists on these threads. Never seen a majority team of color winning. It is the audience response that tells you how fabulous World team world played. Europe had great players, Think Borg should have played Fokina and Fils in one Doubles. Two young guys might have stopped the butter flies and helped both play better as newbies. Johnny Mac made smart pics with you g guys who knew each other, it builds confidence when you are knew. Montfils was mistake. But competitive people were injured.I loved the tennis in Laver this year
