A lot of pirates this expansion, 'Beware the sea ants yarrrrrrrr'. How do you get to Kripp's age without hearing the word seance (say-on-s)? As in, the ritual to communicate with the dead. I'd ask if he's ever heard of a ouija board but that's pronounced weirdly too (most people say wee-jee)

I just thought that section was really funny and was worth the mention. I actually stopped to watch this scene while checking for pack openings and returned to rewatch it afterwards. After I posted my original response, I noticed no one else had called it out, so I updated. It was only when I refreshed did I see Kind Kunta's comment from about the same time. In short, I chuckled, Rania did a good job and I thought it was worth highlighting. I have no intention for like baiting, just sharing useful pack and video information.
I think the reason why time out felt so unfair was because you had 6 of them in the deck so you could play them sparingly. Having only 2 in a deck might not be as powerful.
Kripp also played standard (though Blizzard made) decks with normal deck restrictions. He is not simply basing these predictions off of a silly gamemode.
Still insane due to not taking any damage during your turn and your opponents turn. Allowing you to use weps with ease and heal as well while not taking any damage until your next turn making your opponent not be able to do much
Time out is too strong in paladin, maybe stronger than iceblock was in mage. You get the same effect, but better, can attack with a weapon, can go to fatigue and they can't drop your health to 1. Also works pretty well with Ebomblades lifesteal weapon.
Kripp. Gonk stacks. So having 2 Gonks (From copying/cloning) out means killing one minion gives you 2 more attacks. Meaning you can attack face twice. Now imagine doing that with the traditional cloning combo druid has, perhaps 1 or 2 cards that summon minions on your opponent's board. Your hero can potentially have mega windfury (Or more!)
You, with the no rules game mode of the fireside gathering, you could run multiple pounces, gain them all back with the frog, and seance the frog to repeat forever, and then play the hunter hero for big damage!
Question: If you have Time out in play and you play the legendary that turns your health into armor what happens: 1) do you still lose your health and gain armor because it doesn't damage you? (I don't know how it actually works haven't seen the card played) 2) Do you lose 0 health and gain 0 armor? 3) Do you lose 0 health and gain X armor? (X being the health you would of lost)
I know this is most likely not the case, but now that we have tons of beast synergies, i do believe that a dinomancy deck COULD potentially work with things like revenge of the wild, masters call, hallazi, untamed beastmaster, and to top it all off you can play zuljin to replay all of your spells after you did a huge trade with a board full of stuff for a huge swing. Plus zuljin would recast dinomancy so you would never get his hero power in the first place. Things like hallazi's 1/1s could be sent out as 3/3 rush's once every turn. Another thing is that since dinomancy hunter before didn't have enough refill, masters call and the overall improvement could potentially make this a viable deck.
I just started the game and got Zul'jin in my free packs. Didn't even understand how good it was, I was just like 'wow, that one looks cool'. Thank god for this video.

Seance 9:42 is Séance in French, it comes from French and has been added in English apparently and very close to French Prononciation guys not so hard ! ;) btw: it means some kind of gathering people for debating etc
The Gonk × Floop combo can be a legit OTK. Next patch there's gonna be a card for druid that's summons minions for your opponent, and this deck will be metabreaking, because it then could possibly be a OTK. Only then can Gonk have more consistency, you basically need a way to guarantee that you opponent has a board of minions to clear. Those two cards with Twig is also pretty nuts because once you attack a certain amount with Gonk, the Twig breaks and gives you an additional 10 mana on the same turn possibly.

In Kripp's defense, the Hearthstone card Seance doesn't have the accent on the e. So it doesn't get the ey sound. So it's easy to read it as Sea-nce, rather than Sé-ance
I think the what is new, is that druid deck with a combo that doesn't need every card in the combo and same cards that are in the combo give early game tempo removal.
I caught a bit of his stream and saw him playing a deck with 4+ Time Outs, and combo-ing Shirvallah with the Priest spirit to put more copies into his deck... is that the hands-on experience he's talking about when evaluating these cards, or was there a game mode where people could play real decks too?
I'm actually kind of excited for this set. Hunter and Warrior are the only 2 heroes I don't have golden and it looks like they're getting some very fun cards, should be nice
I'm so grateful for Mojomaster Zihi. I think a lot of 'heavy' or 'fat' control decks will run it as a counter to combo. It's actually a stronger delay than Loatheb, and a much better and fairer designed card. I'd bet good money that Shieldbreaker will see more play than Drakkari Trickster, but there's no need to worry about crafting common or rare cards.

About face Druid package..."CLean the board and do some face damage" The fact is that this deck will not be played to do some face damage after cleaning the board, but killing the opponent, is an OTK deck
Kripp you always have an interesting perspective and good ideas, even though you're quite whiny :P, so that's probably why you're the best at what you do. Keep it up man.
im rly exited to play warrior and paladin this expansion. Hope i can affort all the powerfull cards. And i wish to see druid with usefull face dmg archetype, honestly, its a pain to see the same ramp/combo archetype everytime - its my favorite class, but i hate combos XP.
Played 20+ ranked games with Zul'jin spell deck and although when it works its great, the chance of him hitting you or your minions seems to be WAY to high, either that or I've just had bad luck play after play, even though most the time I'll still win if I get him out, the times I havent are because I kill commanded myself twice and died.
I personally thought the best neutral card was Da Undatakah (I think that’s how it’s spelled lol) especially in deathrattle Hunter (which is already a super powerful deck). Combine him with 2 play dead’s and you get 6 deathrattle triggers.
deathrattle triggers of what great immediate effects? sylvanas has rotated out, who the heck is putting the 8 worgen heal in. Best I can really see it being is just another hadronox and even then it's kinda meh. But maybe i'm missing something.
If you have 20 minions in a hunter deck, and 3 of them are not a beast (2x houndmaster and shaw) you have "only" around 60% chance to get 3 beasts in discover. If you put any more non beast minions, chances go lower really fast - 15 beasts out of 20 minion gives you only about 40% chance to get 3 beasts.
Kings bane rogue, might not need anything else than raiding party to make it. Draw a weapon is not to be underestimated in a deck build around a weapon, you almost double the consistancy of the deck .
Comparing Kripp to Trump: *Druid* Loti: Agree, both rated it best Druid card. Predatory Instincts: Disagree, Trump rated Pounce second best just for removal. Both rated hero attack Druid cards poorly. *Hunter* Zul'Jin: Agree, both rated it best Hunter card. Master's call: Disagree, Trump rated Revenge of the Wild and Bloodscalp Strategist next highest. *Mage* Pyromaniac: Disagree, Trump gave it a 2 when other Mage cards got at most 3. Blast Wave: Disagree, Trump gave it a 2 as well. Highest rated cards were Jan'Alai, Fire Eater, and Hexlord. *Paladin* Trump has not reviewed. *Priest* Mass Hysteria: Agree, Trump rated it best Priest card. Seance: Agree, though Trump rated it a 2, none of the other Priest cards exceeded 1. *Rogue* Raiding Party: Agree, Trump rated it best Rogue card. Cannon Barrage: Disagree, Trump rated Walk the Plank and Gral higher. *Shaman* Trump has not reviewed. *Warlock* Trump has not reviewed. *Warrior* Trump has not reviewed. *Neutral* Trump has not reviewed. Conclusion: Zul'Jin appears to be the safest legendary crafting option if you can support spell Hunter. There is no way two top players can be wrong, right?
jeez i did not realise the draw two dragons gave you any random dragons, I actually thought it gave you two dragons from your deck. Man i cannot wait to play dragon warrior in wild.
Not sure on Timeout ... since you played 6 in a combo warlock deck. Playing only 2 in a deck with only 2 equalities as payoff may be different. Also the hunter "draw3" spell seems very bad to me. You need to play 90% beast to make this better then stiched tracker and even that isn't an auto play in deathrattle hunter.
can't wait to play 2 mana panda on shirvallah imagine playing bunch of shirvallah at the same turn and goes reno jackson V2.0 while doing board clear. or deal 30 face damage with mage 5 card combo worth 10 mana.
5:01 Oh boy, here we go again. That card is another obviously strong card without much conditions for mage. Stat line is good so you can just play as a three and then you have the obvious ping and win problem. 5:25 That ongoing threat thing will be especially a problem. Usually 3 drops don't have good or rather tempo abilities unless they're low health.
I feel like Zihi might ruin any chance of control having success in constructed. Any aggro deck should be able to win with the 3-4 extra turns they get by returning their opponent to 5.
