One thing I noticed was all food is served super fresh super hot plus u add tons and tons of flavour and there u have it.....Authentic Mombasa Street Food. Great job man. Fantastic video, enjoyed every second of it. Keep up the super work🎉🎉🎉

Nice vlog but I want to point out that chana bateta is not a swahili snack its actually derived from Indians the name speaks for itself "chana" chickpeas and "bateta" potatoes. I request the next time you visit this place Please do indicate its an indian savoury. Thanks 😊 @ChefAliMandhry

@@happinessforever2480 thank you for the comment but kindly note Swahili cuisine and Delicasies are highly influenced with Indian delicacies, most of these dishes are adapted from Indian and Arabic culture to make the Swahili cuisine and sometimes we do make it our own way here in the Swahili land so we would definitely consider it Swahili as well as ingredients are locally sourced in the Swahili land … thank you

Mostly halal! Because Mombasa is predominantly Muslim population! Mixture Yemen Arab, Omani Arab and Swahili people (Muslims). Most food businesses are owned by Muslims

Yes it is since some hundreds of years back mombasa was mostly indian influence,chef Ali mandhary hasn't done his homework keeps saying bhajia and biryani swahili dishes,my brother all this dishes are indian which are now done with swahili touch😂

This is mombasa kenya, due to trade we took alot of your food from india, plus india is number one destination for food and spices, we have so much like chapati, parrota etc, even in Britain they consider chicken curry as their national dish, which is indian, plus we have a sizable population of indian origin
