As consultancy work doesn't count, you may need to switch to a technical or business role in a Product-led startup for some time, to stand a chance. All the best!

Thank you so much for all your efforts. Well appreciated. I’m currently building a webapp for a new delivery/logistics company. However, no formal employment letters was issued, but it will likely come up anytime soon because I’ve had conversations with the CEO along these lines. I am basically the CTO of this company so to speak, because I am in charge of the complete development cycle of their platform. It's a new company, and the customer base is still being developed. Also, there is a school where I teach/mentor their students on backend programming two times every week, and I have picture evidence to prove this. Are these sufficient enough for me to apply for endorsement?
Hi Chigozie. It sounds like you're a technical talent. As long as you can provide strong pieces of evidence from the impact, results, and numbers of the varied products you've built, you do stand a chance.

It is more about the strength of your results and impact so far. If you can provide pieces of evidence that are powerful enough for Exceptional Promise within 9 months, then absolutely yes.
Hi Isaac, I really do not know what should people write for me in recommendation letter, cause ı watch your videos and it is really important I think and ı am digital marketer and as ı worked ı am the only digital marketer ( performance marketing specialist) in my company and my managers are all traditional marketer, cause you said you should be specific in recommendation letter but they know nothing what should they write?
Each letter should be specific to the application and include the author's knowledge of the applicant's achievements in the relevant field, how they demonstrate exceptional talent or promise, and the contribution they would make to the UK digital economy. The letters should be typed, up to 3 single sides of A4 paper, and include the author's credentials and contact details, as well as the author's CV or other proof of credentials. The letters must also be signed by the author or someone on behalf of the organization recommending the applicant.

However, as a business talent, your work experience with a product-led technology company and your certifications is mandatory for a successful endorsement. Regarding your second question, as of my last update, Tech Nation is still actively issuing endorsements, and there haven't been any significant changes to the endorsement process. Although huawei might be a product company, it’s like a consulting company in Nigeria, I think work done in huawei will not qualify as innovative. From experience they were denied.
