Simply the very best! It’s amazing how if a stick gets dropped (like around 2:45) the guy just keeps staring straight ahead, keeps playing without loosing a beat in his head, simply, smoothly and quickly grabs up an extra and keeps playing like nothing happened. I agree with everything you said, but I will add, put any semi competent dum line in public and they will gather a crowd. It's amazing how percussion just seems to speak to humans as a whole!!! It's a guttural, love! We're drawn to it, and I loved my time in the line.
This is so amazing. Seeing it up so close allows you to better appreciate the level of technical difficulty and to perform at that level with all eyes on you. It really isn't easy allowing someone to get in your personal space and to beat on your drums. This is just extraordinary teamwork.
I really enjoyed this offering. As it gave a really close up of the Corp in action. Especially the Drummer nearest the cameraman dropping his drumstick and extracting another from his drum-band without turning a hair/blinking.
