There's something about having that Leica brand name on the camera that makes me desire this phone so much more. They make some of the best lenses in the world.
Usually it's the building process of the lens that defines Leica lens. Engineering and the dedication, I doubt they've put that much effort into these.
+amirin92 That's a little different because they actually make the module they use for the phone. But even then software department hasn't made auto mode as well as some others do with the same Sony sensor.. They can produce great results in manual though.

i still had a Huawei ascend Y220. damn that thing was a piece of outdated shit. running android gingerbread 2.3.3 and less then 500mb of internal memory. that was until may 2016. got sick of it, destroyed it, moved on to something better

Yes. It is a "poor" background for a good eye. Too much blur. But then again, it is much more better than most phones's features out there. Yes, a DSLR can cost much much less, but it will only make photos. It won't serve you as a 4GB RAM, 64GB IS, slot-combo, 3000mAh and much more. I get your point, but for a phone that gives you so much, the camera is just cray-cray.
dude portrait mode has existed in post processing software for years. Apple hasn't done anything new with their cameras. Dual cameras have been around for years.
The Gamer Actually it isn't. It's spelled Huawei. I should know, because I'm literally holding a Huawei phone right now. And it says "Huawei" right on the front.
What I think he meant was that it was pronounced that way, since the brand is from China (华为 in chinese writing) and hence would be something like "who-Ah-way" :)
I love the idea of good image post-processing techniques without the need of the usage of separate external software (such as needing to use Photoshop or GIMP). Wouldn’t mind more technical information about this device (eg. Type of ARM based processor, number of cores and speed of processor, RAM size, storage size, how many SIM slots, any TF card slots etc...)
iTokexCreative As a Linux and Unix administrator, I am in the market of looking for a portable device that would be suitable for (white hat) network penetration / security testing and am aware of ARM based Linux distributions that run alongside the existing Android pre-installed operating systems. Obviously it would be a good idea to know what the device is capable of whilst running within these conditions. Also, I read / watch a lot of phone and tablet reviews and am surprised to see how many of these reviews ignore important factors such as the speed and type of the architecture / processing power. On a further note, it is only fair to inform potential customers of the abilities / form-factor of the devices being reviewed.
I used to work for a cellphone service provider and we had so much issues with Huawei phones... I hope they fixed their reliability issues! Because it looks great!
I think the comments got hacked also if somebody sent me any device in a briefcase that was possibly worth more than the device I might be more inclined to be more excited about it than I probably should. but that's just my two cents
+Jaska Jokunen megapixels on cameras aren't everything you know the huawei p9 camera is better in pictures but not video and remember megapixels are not the only thing making a camera better
eh... Huawei. I'm typing this on my Huawei P8 Lite. Great for standard users. Bad for advanced users. My opinion: ° Decent UI ° Decent OS ° RU-vid works ° Just a great phone. Advanced: ° Getting it rooted is hell! ° Not very customizable for advanced users ° If you want NetHunter, get OnePlus One. All this is MY opinion, if you disagree, let me know.
Γιώργος Παπαϊωάννου it is because I have both. And I have been using them for about 4 month. The P9 is better. S7 sometimes gets really hot, and every time when you restart the device it lags for a while. P9 does not have the same problem, and the battery on P9 is long lasting. P9 also has better Camera.
+Jeff Debban No. I'm sorry if my comments were unclear, but I did not mention my motherboard at all. I mentioned my CPU clock speed in addition to saying my laptop is the same as the modern smartphone with 3GB of RAM implying that my laptop also has 3GB of RAM. I never mentioned my motherboard.

Jack does exist. After being asked so many questions in almost every single video Jack didn't know what to say. He has a genius brain with the ability to draw amazing portraits. But the usual hassle of answering questions got to him and he started to become quiet and just look towards nowhere whenever he's being asked a question. Jack is just tired and sleepy guys. He does exist.
Leica is legendary. I want this phone just because of those Leica lenses. I have a 40 year old Leica M5 camera, my father bought it brand new in his youth and he passed it down to me. Beautiful camera.
You know what i've noticed? All of the videos in the up next area on the side>> are always his videos, there are no other channel videos that are recommended whenever I watch Unbox Therapy's channel.. thats pretty interesting to me. It's probably why i've been on a 10 video streak with this channel anyways.
