I have the first PD chrono with the white dial. If I had it to do over, I would go for the black dial because the hands against the white dial almost disappear.
I have the Pagani PD1676 (Daytona Paul Newman style)... very cool watch, but small (the true diameter is 38.5mm, not 40mm)..... now I'm waiting for a GTM PD1784 (Zulu homage).
I agree I misread the meters. I have been looking for a 300m watch for a while and the spec description wasn’t clear and I know now why it was a little unclear.
I'm happy with the Speedy Pagani homage and several more I've bought .The Chinese have been improving their quality last few years. . The other thing you don't know is your Seiko is sourced from parts from Malaysia and other countries now and they can't even align a bezel for quality control.
I bought the Seestern S434, black & gold in the last 11/11 sale. I can highly recommend it - top quality and looks stunning. A homage to the Glashute Original SeaQ which sells for around $12k, though there are other versions, notably Wolbrook which is well under $1k.
