I'm so happy to see dry/eczema prone skin care. It's so hard to shop for our skin type since "sensitive" skin is thrown around in skincare with no actual meaning. Products that market for "sensitive skin" can either mean they are made for acne, rosacea, eczema, damaged barrier, atopic, etc. Which are all such DIFFERENT problems with different roots and different solutions. Barrier repair products can clog pores and acne products can dry out skin.

Hi, I do recommend you get the Liquid Gold from Stratia. Use it as a serum to recover your skin barrier. Liquid Gold has the major 3 components to recover skin barrier: Ceramides / fatty acids / Cholesterol. I also recommend to cut down on the strong active ingredients. Use the Fortify skin oil from Stratia :( I hope you get better.

I am allergic to some metals, and I also have had eczema on my hands. Normally it happens during times of stress. Anyway, last summer I decided to start using sunscreen for the first time in my life and the one I chose had something in it that I reacted to, and I have been fighting eczema off and on all over my face ever since. I was trying everything and one day I tried a product called Secret Key. It is like an essence. I was amazed that the very next morning things had started to heal already! So now my skin is back to normal, but I find I have new sensitivities now to some foundations. So, if I feel a flare coming, I just use that Secret Key and it immediately starts to calm things down.

Thank you for this video for us eczema people. I found I can keep my facial eczema flare ups down to a minimum by eliminating sodium laurel sulfate shampoos. Even if I rinse well after hair washing some gets on my face and irritates it. I also love the hada labo gokuyjun line!

my holy grails are Ceradan's skin barrier repair cream + Cetaphil's moisturising cream (NOT lotion) on top. I seal them with vaseline at night when my skin is just extra dry with eczema patches. also gotta ensure my skin is still DAMP before I apply these moisturisers/occlusives
@QuirkyBoy
@QuirkyBoy 2 года назад
You use all of that together?

Cosrx comfort ceramide cream made my tretinoin irritated skin even more irritated, this cream works well when my skin is is not irritated. otherwise, it just makes my skin itchy:/ I have heard it may be caused by the bergamot oil

Have you tried La Roche-Posay? My daughter has sever eczema so I’ve been using that lately on her to keep her skin hydrated. I also have her use shikai lotion for children and that helps her eczema.

Aveeno is the OG for exema. The whole line is colloidal oatmeal. I particularly like the relief line with sea butter. I use the balm on face and hands.

My fiancee has sensitive skin and gets eczema easily as well. I've been able to add a serum before his cream and I alternate between the IUNIK Black Snail Restore serum and NIOD's Modulating Glucosides. He enjoys them both and notices a difference when he uses either regularly. A vitamin C product I enjoy using is NIOD's Survival 0. I find it a more absorbable and gentler version of the Kiehl's concentrated C product. Otherwise, my other vitamin C go to is the one you shared in today's video. I appreciate these videos as it gives me other options to have my fiancee try or when he needs more or less moisture! Oh - he uses the LaRoche Posay Toleriane Dermo-cleanser to cleanse his face as milk cleansers had an odd scent for him!

Survival 0 doesn’t actually contain ascorbic acid or any vitamin c derivatives, but it’s such a wonderful and potent anti-oxidant that it’s a great option for anyone sensitive to traditional forms of vitamin c (due to the irritation it can cause down to the lower PH) as well as derivatives. I also use survival 0 and love it, so I stocked up during the Deciem sale. I may buy more as they are going to increase the prices from February!

Thank you for this video! 💜💜💜I suffer from eczema as well as blepharitis. I use Avenova antimicrobial lid & lash solution, just use a q-tip and run along lash line. Before I found that, I was constantly using an Rx eye ointment which I knew was probably not good in the long run. I will have to try ocusoft

I’ve been watching ya channel for a couple of years now and I like your top skincare recommendations cause I always have good luck with them. I have life long eczema too .-. The one thing I always tell others to try and it works great for them also is the puriya mother of all creams on Amazon . I feel like it’s the one thing I can use on my face (including eye area) that makes the biggest difference with itchiness and inflammation! I know for the most part you’re technically not suppose to use the steroids creams on the face but this works better than that haha of course spot test first with this product
