+Carmo Motovlog I`m happy to have Autobahn "rules" like this too - there are also Autobahn`s in Austria but it`s only allowed to drive 130km/h... Come over and try the feeling of driving beyong the 200km/h mark! ;-)

+RogueMogul Yes, you are totally right. There should be Autobahn(rules) all over the world so everyone can drive out his bike (i hope it`s the right word; if your bike can drive 100mph there should be the possibility to try it legally at least one time) ^^

+Bavarian Biker The problem is, that they have highways that often are in a very bad condition. Roads in the same condition also have a speed limit in germany.

Thats a good question. The pressure of wind is very hard over 140km/h. So i prefer a constant speed between 130-140km/h on the Autobahn

Da ich nichts an Ritzel, Übersetzung & Co geändert habe, würde ich behaupten, dass es ab Werk ist :)

Fährt sich gut auf der Autobahn. Leichte Vibrationen gibt es hier aufgrund des Einzylinders immer. Bis 150km/h ist alles super, darüber hinaus spürt man einen starken Druck durch den Wind an Kopf und Helm. Für Autobahnfahrten empfehle ich dringend ein Windshield

Danke für die Info. Für mich 120km ist schon ok! Ich werde eine 2001 kaufen. Meine einzige zorge is das Wasser Pomp... viele Leute sagen ab 50 TK Wasserpumpe brobleme... who knows.. Servus

Bavarian Biker Now, with transmission 14x45 and down-hill the engine cuts at 134km/h. But with transmission 14x39 my top speed was 139km/h ;)

+DesiRide Never rode 200km/h on a motorcycle - it`s hard enough to face the wind at 170km/h^^ It`s 652cc.

and with motorcycles like ours(trail) that just not make sense. It's to feel the road, not burn it! :D

DesiRide Yes, it depends on the typ of motorcycle - on a sportsbike you are more near to the bike so the wind doesn`t hit you that hard like on an enduro^^ Anyways, i like to enjoy the landscape more than speeding around.

I have two: this blue one was built in 2003 and is a single cylinder (650cc). The red one was built in 2007 and has 798cc (two cylinder).

Hey Vstm, it depends on the maximum allowed velocity and wind-protection :D Normally i`m riding close to the 100km/h-limit on long journeys (country roads). But even riding 130km/h at the Autobahn can be comfortable if your windshield is big enough - I haven`t tried to drive (much) faster than this because of the "default speedlimit of the side panniers". On my new BMW i don`t like to drive more than 150km/h for long times because of the high wind pressure.

The fifth gear is the top gear on this bike. But i don`t know the RPM at 100km/h now :/ I think about 4000 (?)
