it's not a good news, it means they're not using the new generations' hardware as they should, it has never happened before that a new generation wouldn't feel so new after the previous one, it's 2024, 4 years later they're still releasing games for the old consoles, not a good sign in this industry.

Spending extra money on a monitor for my ps4 be worth it ?

It looks blurry due to big 55 inch size of TV..since ps4 only support 1080p resolution and 1080p on 55 inch will obviously not look that great. For 1080p 24 to 27inch is perfect. You can buy 24 or 27 inch 1080p monitor for Ps4

Select on PS4 settings image to full RGB and set TV to automatic range, sharpness to 25 and 4 4 4 pass throuh to HDMI port.
