Top Spin 2K25 Plays Just as Awesome as Ever 

I'm sure it's great fun but there's no reason a game in 2024 should look like a game from 2010

This reminds me of Rockstar Table Tennis which was released around the same time. It was a game to test the new engine of Rockstar that they would use for the next GTA’s. I would love a part 2 with online mode

As a massive tennis fan, I’m stoked to see this back. Seems they got stuck in 2001 graphics, but I’m all in for the gameplay.

They brought everything like coding and programing to the new engine including the same graphics

Everything about Steffi Graf is wrong in this game. Movement, stroke, looks, attire.... Gosh! What a turn off!

In my opinion, their primary objective is to gauge its market performance. Should this game prove successful, the subsequent installment will witness a significant enhancement in terms of graphical fidelity.

Can't forgive the PS3 graphics. A lot of people will say that gameplay is most import than graphics in a Tennis game but why not having both?

If gameplay is fantastic, graphics can come later in the pipeline! Too many games focus on graphics over the gameplay and it all goes wrong

Can't believe people complain about facial expressions in a tennis game. Who cares! Ball physics? Real players from the tour? Retired legends? Top quality gameplay? This looks great fun!

Looks like a money grab!

Every tennis game since top spin 4 has been mediocre at best. This is 2K's careful return. They didn't allocate a large budget, but as long as it plays well, it should give them confidence to revitalize the series and invest more into updates and sequels

Looking forward too it, but yes, was expecting a graphical leap. Theres only 2 players on screen, not a huge open world, it should look miles better than it does

The fact that you can play basically top spin 4 in 4k on pc is more than enough of an upgrade. Top spin was always about the gameplay anyway. This was a recode from ps3 which was proprietary

Remember used to enjoy playing virtual tennis and my Dreamcast with my friends and a car game called rush .

Looks exactly the same as TopSpin4 but only ported to newer engine with almost the same animations and slightly better graphics. Something similar Valve did with CSGO and CS2. Cant really complain, at least they gave us support for nextgen consoles but the name really should be TopSpin4 NextGen Update...

Underwhelming. After all these years...

The gameplay also looks identical to Top Spin 4. I see a lot of reused animations, which at the time already felt a bit jank; now it's just a bit silly. Also just playing as one of the actual game's professionals isn't enough; they should really try to actually have their characters animate like them as well. Nothing takes me out of the experience quicker to see Agassi's serve look nothing like his form IRL.

Graphics are borderline insulting in this day and age. The facial expressions are reminiscent of Mass Effect Andromeda when it first released. Massive, massive top spin fan but this is a joke.

Hopefully the final 2 months of the polish phase completely facelifts how shoddy this looks. We all know it's gonna play well, but it doesn't need to play better than 4, it only needs to look current gen with 4's physics to be a top-tier game in today's age.

I'm at least glad they didn't acquire Tennis World Tour or AO Tennis and just slap the 2K branding on it, and it was actually developed by a 2K studio.

Licensing the full roster of top 50 and legends would give the game more commercial appeal. Playing with the actual players makes a difference.

They fixed Roger's single wristband from TS4, did they fix his serve to platform from pinpoint? Shame the graphics are not next gen standard, but the Top Spin series and tennis games in general, need correct gameplay over looks. Hopefully the pro player animations are correct this time.

The gameplay looks on point like the predecessor one but come on… the graphics are horrendous. Graphics are part of the whole experience and it feels like a disappointment on this part. Still, I’m very excited about it ! Thank you for bringing it back

There is no sweat on players and no dirt on shoes ...when playing on clay...thats unforgivable...Top Spin 4 has that ...

No wonder they sell it on last gen console too, since it look like top spin 4 (ps3/360) with better resolution. Not much details, bad presentation, bad looking player without expression. So, a full price game from 2K, with dlcs and VC , with subpar graphics, and not much players that still play. This game should sell at low price. No thank's.
