Arredondo micromanaged the scene in Uvalde and now faces the consequences of his poor management decision. He assumed another cop would be the incident commander and there was no other person to assume that role because all of the hours upon hours of emergency management didn't matter. I think you should also talk about rental scams!!!!! I am looking for affordable housing in the worst time in history for the Sacramento, CA market. Scammers place ads, people respond and are asked to pay an application fee. Scammers get the money and the prospective renter is left in the cold. Scammers are also after sensitive info like Soc security #s, email and phone numbers. There should be a law not to charge people for anything until they are sure to get the place they want to rent! Lots of scammers out there and no one to protect the renter.

Hi Tom say a little luster for me. I would put this in caps but I'm hoping to fall on hearing ears. Armchair quarterbacking is easy but the first thing that came to my mind is that doors are framed and a frame can be taken out. Give me the keys to that truck! I happen to be one of those guys that thinks outside the box. I am one of those guys that worries way more about others then myself. It also came to my mind that that shooter couldn't play five hands of poker without losing all his money. Easy to bluff a guy like that. With or without a gun with or without keys I would have taken care of business. Drive the truck through the doors and make the gunman think he was surrounded then bashing that dang door with whatever means possible. The truck is already inside, put a chain around it and pull that door out of there, all of this would have taken much less time than those guys standing around with their hands in their pockets waiting for a key. I think outside the box. Out of all those brains standing around not one knew how to think outside the box?
