@henryjw15 naw I meant Permian.. I just forgot about midland lee... but u know, if ur from tx that most of our best ball is not coming out of west tx.. not saying they're not any gd teams..just not that many
West texas teams kick ass in the lower classifications, Benjamin, hawley, albany, hamlin, jim ned,....but 4,5,and 6a schools from metroplex areas take the rest of those titles. There's a hell of alot more population, and school zoning options for players in these areas.
I played ball in Louisiana n im from tx...one thing i noticed was that u cld be all state in the boot n still go to a smaller college.. if u all state in tx u prolly going to a big school...
They can't beat Carthage neither. I've been trying for the past three years to get games with Desoto, Cedar Hill, and Duncanville, and they will not play Carthage. Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma didn,t, want to play in week 5 so they went way down south to play San Banito. Ruston may be the best in the Louisiana territory, but they're not the best in Texas. We have way more teams that will whip that ass real good. 😂
Ruston alone has 1300 kids and they are 5a go to the school Dallas 4a schools have 4000 kids there. Desoto has how many kids there Duncanville has how many kids come on now

Lee is awful. If they make it past district they lose to south lake, but this year it wouldn't surprise me to see them get spanked by Permian and not even win their district.
Permian is not good...They always pad their non-district game stats by playing scrubs...Their combined non district opponent record is 12-12. Lee put themselves in a gauntlet this year. Their opponents combined record is 21-3. Strength of schedule matters. 51.8 SOS for Lee while Permian's in 12.4. Lee is also thrusting in a Sophomore QB who has only been practicing as QB1 for two weeks now. He set a school record in his fist game as QB1 against Abilene high for passing yards in a game. Lee will be ready for district, but there won't be a single team sniffing the third round of playoffs out of this district.
@@elchacho3554 They are...because they haven't played a decent team yet...I've been to their games. Gavin Black is their team and will likely lose 2 or 3 games in district and probably lose to another El Paso team in the first round of playoffs.
I hv never heard of midland legacy.. yall nd to play the real dawgs of the state to be tlkn like yall done anything.. Ruston has some ballplayers.. I played with some of yalls finest.. Brad Laird, Kenny Wright, Mike Green, Dean bros, ect... Ruston wld get the hell beat out ofm if the played the top teams...
May recognize their former name better, Midland Lee. Played against West Monroe back when Cedric Benson was there. Changed the name to get rid of the Robert E Lee stigma
@@Frosty4024texas has way more teams than desoto, Duncanville or North Shore. When people speak on Texas football being the best 9x10 its schools in North Texas area. Midland Lee is in West Texas
@youngtrill9745 I've lived in Denton and Commerce for 10 years and was Born and raised in Louisiana. I'm aware of this. My point is that every time a team beats a Texas school someone is quick to bring up the Top Texas Schools. They're not the only schools in the state and can't schedule everybody. Ruston beat Midland "Legacy." It is what it is. Ruston plays Stephenville next. They're probably the best of the 3 teams Ruston will play from Texas despite being a Texas 4A. Let's see how that one goes. I wonder how many people know that Ruston is being coached by a Texas coach?
