Mainly because its unnecessarily permanent...and it looks ugly.

​@@theguitaramptech OK, thanks! But isn't it a good thing that the writing is permanent, so that the capacitor installation date is clearly visible, even after several years?

@@dingalarm i’m cool with it lasting several years, it’s more the several decades I have difficulty removing. The sticker will usually come off pretty easily, and the writing is more contained. You can’t believe some of the childlike scrawl I’ve had to try and remove.

@@theguitaramptechI was actually referring to using permanent markers (Sharpies etc) on stickers anyway. Indeed, they would be unnecessarily permanent and ugly when used directly on a chassis. I bet the "childlike scrawl" is even worse than a doctor's handwriting 😆
