Yeah imagine how cool of a showoff of his regeneration it could've been if it decapitated him and krillin jumped in surprise and celebration, before someone points out that his body wasn't falling, and in fact he'd caught his own head in his hand, holding it looking toward himself in the classic shakespearean pose, before raising it back above his neck as it reattaches itself, with a comment along the lines of "Not bad human. Between you and that... what was it, tien man, I'm honestly a bit disappointed my journey to perfection was so simple. If I was back in my first form, you two might've made fun toys to play with before my true battle."

I think the main reason they didn't do that was because if Krillin took Cell's head off there it would have ruined the surprise of just how strong his regeneration was and took away from the Final Flash scene

Probably my favorite part of the Cell arc after he's out of his Imperfect Form

@@miky9504 The Tournament arena, RR army base, I like the Pirate secrete base too, the king's palace, supreme kais planet, Karim Tower, Kamis Lookout, not just CC, but the whole west city, Kame House, Ox Satan's mountain, Ura nai babas palace, Gohan's school, there was one episode in an amusent park that looks really cool

Definitely mine as well. As soon as I saw their techniques in Dragon Ball, I was hooked on watching them do more for the rest of Dragon Ball. Even in Super, it felt like their moments were just made of a specific episode rather than being in fights or plotlines scattered across an arc like the focal characters.

I like that they included him, but I wish TFS had a dedicated filler episode for the Cell arc like they did in their Saiyan and Freeza seasons (and technically the Maron episode).

There are some interviews with Toriyama that confirm it, so there could be some details lost in translation or not known, but he basically said his editor didn't like Imperfect or Semi-Perfect Cell as the final villain of the arc, so he had to rewrite the story a bit.

I kind of feel it should have replaced the Angry Kamehameha. Sure the Angry Kamehameha didn't kill Frieza, but as he pointed out in the video it did end the fight. The Warp Kamehameha on the other hand just straight up failed, doing pretty much exactly what Final Flash did.

All we knew was that he was from a team of galactic superheroes who didn't want to fight in the tournament despite his overwhelming power. That doesn't sound like someone you'd Spirit Bomb. Even if it could have worked it didn't seem like it should

@@M_Alexander But it doesn't matter if we knew that or not, if he had darkness in his heart, then that's all that matters. And Goku was desperate at the time as well, everything else failed, after all.

@@toumabyakuya I just feel like the history and the purpose of the technique made it an odd choice considering what both we and the characters knew at the time. Also they had to shoehorn in a reason for Goku to be able to stand there and gather energy for a few minutes in the middle of an arena where there was a time limit. And spectacle aside, it was a really weird way to introduce a new form. The whole thing was weird and I prefer how the manga did it

These are merely the Top 10 of the Failed moves, rather than the bottom 10 of all finishing moves in the series, so there is ground to say that it is still the top, for what is at the top is bottom, and bottom is top. Now go forth and combine! I summon Stardust Dragon!
