Brutal Legend was so badass. As a person who loves power metal, that game is a true power fantasy.

Rhythm Thief, a game on the 3DS so forgotten that it didn’t even make the list

Ubisoft kinda hinted at re-releasing the Scott Pilgrim game. It would be perfect to re-release the game as the 10th anniversary of the movie is coming up soon.

So a good portion of Sega's lineup then .

Only seven egg puns in the Billy Hatcher segment? I'm gonna lay this out here: that's ineggscuseably few, egg puns most fowl are the over easy mode of English wordplay and should come to you like a duck takes to water. Were you perhaps too chicken to come up with more, or did you turn benedict and remove some from your script before sunrise? Also it's a load of croc to forget that pheasants are not alone in their ovi position; I guess it's time for me to weasel on out of here.

You wanna hear a forgotten? Look up “Drawn To Life” trust me, you should, it’s a really good game, with an even better Sequel. Trust me, you will cry.

You know what's sad, Child of Light was forgotten even on a list about forgotten games.

I got Titanfall 2 As soon as it came out because I heard before-hand of its single player mode and that it has more mechs than the first game. It is now one of my favorites FPS games, and that's a hard list to get on.

I greatly appreciate highlighting some of the Wii's forgotten gems. There's good depth in that library... it's just mixed in with so much shovelware that the console has a good chance of rescuing Shield Knight.

THE SCOTT PILGRIM SEGMENT HURTS ME!!! I played this at a friends house, and admittedly I'm still salty about being player 5, and I loved it. Also got the books, and they're great as well.

Capcom's Breath of Fire series and the Drakengard trilogy is practically forgotten. I hardly hear anyone mention either of those titles, especially Breath of Fire after the mobile game Breath of Fire 6

Billy Hacher was one of the games my sibling and I spent HOURS in the multiplayer. Just hatching the different eggs to see which of our favorite animal buddies we would get. Or hatching eggs until all of the nests became Sonic eggs. Thank you for reminding me of this gem of a game that I still occasionally wish I could play again.

Spectrobes is a forgotten game that will always be in my heart

I’m one of the lucky ones that has the Scott Pilgrim game on my PS3. I play it every now and then- mainly when it’s mentioned in videos like this.

Titanfall 2 was and still is one of my favorite games. I picked it up at launch and played the hell out of it, single and multiplayer.

I just wanna stop for a second to appreciate how high quality and thorough these countdowns are. I watch my fair share of countdowns on RU-vid and these are easily the best ones. You can really tell the thought, care, and effort that goes into each video. Good on ya, Josh.

I remember hearing a couple of weeks ago that the Scott Pilgram game has a possibility of being re-released.

FINALLY! A Countdown that mentions The Last Story. I got it for Christmas and still got it. I was informed how sad/disappointed the cashier was when my mom bought it. It was literally the last copy they had. I am very grateful for stumbling upon the information about Operation Rainfall and also receiving it and its more popular sibling.

There are so many forgotten good games. Most of them are Segas fault. Where's my new Fantasy Zone game and no I'm not going to stop harping on about it!

Jade Empire. Bioware‘s hidden gem that is unfortunately quite often left in the shadows of its more successful brothers (Mass Effect, Dragon age or even Baldur‘s Gate for that matter).

Kinda funny how Scott Pilgrim is getting a re-release and Alan Wake is actually fondly thought of and in a spot-light because of "Control."

10: Your editor hearing those puns must consider you quite the Eggs Benedict Arnold for betraying their trust. 9: I've heard that he was popular over in Japan however Microsoft had to debate on the more American-Focused Popularity of Master Chief that could expand Globally or acquiring a niche fanbase but overall a negative perception. 8: This is probably why future gen consoles having Digital Exclusives might scare some people. 7: Ownership Hell. What got a number of good series owned by a big company to sit in a limbo. It leads to your Yooka-Laylee's and your Mighty No. 9's. 6: All you had to say was Suda-51... That could be a video in of itself. 5: Nowadays I don't think any sequel, rerelease or otherwise would sit too well. I remember the marketing for it all over. 4: Yeah they tried to sell the game based on cast alone. Frequently throwing the Jack Black quotes and the character as the focus. At least this one aint in a type of no-release purgatory like Number Eight... 3: Yep they thought they could be the other Titanic, Console-Exclusive FPS. However they never factored Multi-Console FPS's going on a rise. 2: Very subtle. A bit too subtle. I (PORT THESE GAMES!) don't think (PORT THESE GAMES!) they got the (PORT THESE GAMES!) message. 1: I remember this game. Not because of any reminders it was because it tried to be different and in somewhat succeeded. I don't think it's entirely forgotten compared to the other 9.

10: hopefully he’ll get at least 1 more game like Nights did. Maybe since sonic team is apparently slowing down with sonic now they’ll look back and bring back some old franchises. 9: Never had an original Xbox so no comment 8: sounds like a fun game. They could at least port it to mobile. 7: I’d be interested in a sequel hopefully the development hell is over now. 6: I’ve tried some of these as well as no more heroes, lots of fun but not really my preference personally. 5: EA stupidity in a nutshell. 4: I kind of want a sequel or remake to be made by platinum just for the sheer insanity that could be brought on. 3: Yeah trying to dethrone COD is like trying to dethrone WOW, you can put up a fight but you’ll eventually get shot in the end. 2: Eh, No console’s library is perfect, I still like the Wii overall despite its numerous issues. 1: Oh, titanfall. Another example of trying to slay the dragon known as COD and battlefield but just coming up short. Really wish it succeeded since at least then we’d have 3 kingdoms instead of 2. Might as well throw in my own hat into the ring. The old square enix iOS exclusive games. Symphonica, Bloodmasque and the chaos rings series (among others) were really good games and because of IOS updates, they would no longer work and eventually got removed. I honestly really hope some day square ports them to something just so they aren’t completely dead.

PLEASE PLAY BRUTAL LEGENDS IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES EVER And we do need more Ultraman fighting games again

It's funny, as you just before you mentioned Red Steel 2, Pandora's Tower, and The Last Story I looked over at my game shelf and thought that they were so forgotten they wouldn't even make this list, but then you made my day! Hey josh I got a DnD question I’ve been considering playing DnD what would you recommend as a starting class I’ve thought of creating a potion mage with high dialogue and use of both two handed and one handed weapon but I’d still like your input

Two games I have been talking about for quite some time now that really fit with the title of "Forgotten Games" are Parasite Eve and Rule of Rose. Parasite Eve was a fantastic game back in the day that just fell off the map after the third game(although hopes arised for the series' return recently). As for Rule of Rose, it has one of the best stories I have ever experienced and is a pretty decent horror game that was knocked down by people misunderstanding and hating the game for many of the themes it used, as well as its poor gameplay. The game is now insanely expensive, unfortunately.

Straight up squeed when I started hearing the music for the number 9 slot. I love the Blinx series so damn much and it is my favorite childhood game series. It makes me sad how it got swept under the rug, but thank you so much for acknowledging it in this list, Josh.

Killzone did have a futuristic setting, but Resistance did not. If you paid attention to the Resistance timeline, you'd know the series is in an alternate 1950s, much like how the MachineGames Wolfenstein titles are in an alternate 1940s-80s.

With Silvagunner’s Jet Set Radio-themed stream trending 1 at gaming for a while, and the whole tournament leading up to it, I think Jet Set Radio has become more well known now.

I remember seeing Last Story in a gaming magazine when I was younger and being blown away by the graphics and the offer of unique gameplay and music. Fittingly enough, I soon completely forgot about it and Xenoblade Chronicles was what reminded me that that game existed...

I'm honestly glad I at least spotted Ghost Trick in the intro. I really did like that game, even though puzzle games aren't usually my thing.

Hell yeah, some love for Brütal Legend!! Easily one of the best games ever. The soundtrack is without question my favorite part of it. Like what Guitar Hero and Rock Band did for introducing a new generation to Rock and Metal, Brütal Legend's soundtrack goes one step further, digging deep into the Heavy Metal underground. There are bands included that I would have never heard of it wasn't for Brütal Legend.

I'm so glad I have Scott Pilgrim with all the DLC, 4 player Couch coop was the best.

I agree with the legend of Dragoon as a forgotten game. My dad played it when I was a kid and I loved watching him play it as well as playing it myself. And from what i have seen I am not the only who wants that game brought back seeing how there is a petition out there to get the game remade for modern console. Sony give us the remake please

Funny that Brutal Legend is the thumbnail as I actually just started playing that for the first time a few days ago.

Knowing EA, they had Titanfall 2 release in between Battlefield 1 and Infinite Warfare deliberately because they didn't want their one and only cash cow to be overshadowed, especially since Titanfall has much more promise than Battlefield has had.

I just have one thing to say. A Boy and His Blob was originally and NES title and so the Wii was a remake.

Dino Crisis, whatever happened to that? Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who remembers that game. It wasn't my all-time favorite as a kid, but, I fondly remember watching my family members play it.

I knew you were about to talk about Billy Hatcher from the instant you mentioned egg puns. Ironically, I remember this game despite never having owned it, or even played it beyond a short playable demo they had set up on a display at a retailer when I was a kid. Funny how that works, right? Actually, I remember every game here except for Blinx and those two Wii games that got overshadowed by Xenoblade Chronicles, even though the only two of these games I've owned or played besides Billy Hatcher were Alan Wake and Daemon X Machina.

I really like how in the Titanfall games have the pkayers as elite soldiers, and has npc's of normal grunts in the multiplayer that you can fight so you can contribute to your team no matter the skill gap between your team and your adversaries.
