Mae West is the woman who inspired the bottle design for Femme. It is said that Marcel Rochas had an affair with her from what I can remember. Such an amazing scent, Roudnitska was a genius!

PS IMO There aren't really any objective "good old days." There is only the longing for the perceived lost innocence of youth. Envy of the neighbor is as old as Cain and Abel. Things have always been what they are now. Every age has demanded we evaluate what's happening now and do our best to navigate the struggles of day.

7:30 I wss born '98 so I didn't get to experience the 90s but you get a feel for it through media from the time. Surely not as good as living it though haha

Im glad you can speak your mind without the negativity Happy Memorial Day . Polo Sport I mix with Polo Blue Sport . Now the white bottle Polo Blue Sport is discontinued .

@@RamseytheRam I do the same with Eternity I get the parfum and mix it with original edt and all of a sudden it's the 90s . The Polo Blue Sport white bottle with a blue trim across it has seaweed Polo Sport original doesn't have it anymore. So when you combine them you have the original scent . I do it with Dolce Gabbana and D&G Intense as well true story scouts honor 😁

Sucks to hear about the tornados. I was within driving distance of one last year myself. 🌪 Even drove through a storm coming back from the states that was so severe I didn't think I would make it out alive. Always worse when they're coming at you from behind because they move QUICK. Glad I wasn't wearing anything too heavy that day because it would've been an instant aversion. Definitely agree with your assessment of the 90s! ☺

I just received my bottle of Rochas Femme, latest EDT version. I had to get one hearing you talk about it all the time. I do imagine that what you are sniffing is a little more fruity that the latest version. This one has a really high amount of cumin which overshadows the fruitiness. In the opening, for just a couple of minutes, it dares play the Salome role. It just plugs in your brain a reminiscence of Salome, then it flies away getting back to spicy, BO and fruity smell. Is is worth $35? Ohhh yes !!! Thank you for getting this in the spotlight.

To die for a flag? No, thank you! Got a proper vtg Rochas Femme recently, what a fragrance!!! Nina Ricci L'Air du Temps - a floral hell! But probably a proper fragrance to honour all those poor souls who was forced to rot on the battlefield by yet another short man with or with a short willie (or both) and an overblown ego. Can't think of anything more stupid than war.
