Trippy right? I was thinking about Glare for a good while, and it was super close, but these cards just did more historically overall. Too bad too because the thing was super cool and the guard restrict was pretty legit.
mannn this series is full of nostalgia and it’s so refreshing to see these gold paladin units again and what they did for the meta in their own respective series. Looking forward to the shadow paladin one (and all the other clans as well pls make it happen haha)
Happy it's giving ya that nostalgia, this game's history is downright fascinating. Heck, it's such a robust one that my buddy who does the Cardfight Chronicles can talk about it for hours w/o stopping (probably why he does that series lol) and the group can listen no problem cuz it's that interesting lol. You bet I will! And after that, the plan is to keep the train rolling with other Top 10s, I'm hoping to get a bunch out for the community to look back on, so I'm super glad y'all like these so far!

Amazing video. I had pretty okay predications, outside of the V percival(expected a Bluish Legion for some reason), Spear X and the Ezel variants outside the first one. G Golds really don't stand a chance to the other eras.
Oh for sure, G golds was never above rogue and that much was stretching it a lot of the time, it sucks too because Gurguit and the Golden Dragons had an amazing aesthetic. At least V series did him justice (perhaps a little too much justice tho lol).
This series very good and your explaining stuff is oddly soothing and therapeutic, keep coming with video like this and maybe lore wise will be good for this format

OK this series is awesome can't wait for shadows as they are my fav paladins (yes I'm a ren Stan fight me) but would love to see this for all the clans as its a cool way to learn about clans I'm not to familiar with (although at this point that's not many)
@@godsman00 I do wonder if it would be a cool side series to maybe do something like a clan dissection like a dive into the archtypes of a different clan and there playstyles don't know if that sounds like something interesting 🤔
It's funny you mention this because I'm gonna do that a little for the Shadows video since there's a lot of Archetype dominance from Luard, Revenger, and a bit of Blasters, so explaining the core strategy for each will give a good idea on how great Shadows fundamentals were.
Ah Gold Paladin, my second favourite out of the Paladin boys. A lot of really good cards in this clan. Speaking of good cards, V Percival and V Gurguit while cool and all, they are admittedly a mistake on Bushi's part. What the heck were they smoking when they made them lol?
My favorite part is that they somehow backslid on their choice restriction and put Percy to one like they were an addict saying "a little couldn't hurt" only for Gurguit to slaughter the top tables again 🤣
Looking forward to this series as it explores more clans/nations. If you are accepting criticism/opinions. One thing I would like to change is the BGM volume, sometimes the BGM is overpowering your voice, from time to time I stray and focus on the BGM due to it's high/medium volume.
Glad to hear it! I'm currently working on the Shadow Paladin script actually, because you're right, we gotta complete the Trio. And tbh I forgot how much Revengers and Luard Dominated lol, it's wild lol, but here's hoping it'll be a good list regardless
@@godsman00 yeah I ain’t surprised about Revengers and Luard. The only other Shadow Paladin deck that stood out to me,e besides those two was Claret Sword. But he was like third or fourth place stand out to me. I wonder what clan you will do next after Shadow Paladin. Maybe either one of the three other United/Keter Sanctuary clans.

Oh 100%, V Golds hit the NOS for the Golds train lol. Idk what they were thinking with Gurguit and Percival tbh. On the bright side, I guess it made up for the lackluster G era for Golds?
Will have to wait and see but what brawlers would you like to see in CC V7 & V8 for me it would be Big Bang knuckle dragon and buster as well as skybeat, wildrush and lastly shotgun. Side note I wrote a long list in multiple vanguard video about the cards that are in the og-g not being in v yet.
@@godsman00 First of all the promo distribution for certain nations should be accessible and lower rarity so that people can easily get it. Stand Up Decks and Stride Decksets should allow more copies of cards maximum of 4 each so that each player can play with as well as staple cards being in it as well so that they won't have to pay extra when buying in other tcg online stores. Stride Decksets should allow only their boss units to be used in Standard for example Chronojet G and Z should be included in the stride deckset as well as focusing only on the main Clan name for example for Chronojet Dragon, G and Z should only have a G-Zone composed of their respective evolved forms example Chronodragon Nexstage, Gear Groovy, Gearnext and Chronovisor (if he will be included) pls make it happen should be the main G-Zone units that Chronojet should go into and no other ones unless the text specified the card name itself. More V and P collection should be included since Premium has one of your biggest players among the three formats thus V-Premium still exist? Yes and No. Just Remove V-Premium and Just focus on Premium and Standard that's it nothing else matters. Focus on what your players want too enjoy that's the important thing here its the players excitemnt, remove overtriggers completely they are a waste of space and was the worst decision bushiroad has ever made.
