So happy I found this. I’m about to finish the CNA course and graduate next month so I’m applying to jobs now and just got called for a phone screening for the mother and baby floor. I’m excited but as nervous as ever
This is very helpful, I watched it twice to think about how I am going to answers for my interview. Thank you so much for sharing and I hope your the best of luck!
@Kellie Moqbel sorry I’m so late. But why do you want to be an OR nurse, why the hospital, situational questions and a time I had to solve a problem. Also how are my communication skills. Literally besides that they talked all about the residency!
I haven’t gotten a single cna job I applied to for many months and I felt so defeated, I felt like nobody was seeing my potential of growth :( Thank you so much!!!!
Preparing for my interview for the NICU as a nurse with two years experience in adult and pedi. Thank you for helping me remember what an interview is like and the types of questions
Thank you so much for making this video! I'm only a nursing student now but I found it extremely helpful as I can start paying attention to those scenerios that you mentioned when I go to clinicals and prepare to tell them in my future interview. Subscribed :)
The example you gave about a time where you got negative feedback. The EXACT same thing happened to me, literally today!! Completed my preceptorship hours and the nurse was super nice and was a great teacher. There wasn’t anything that was said negatively until it was time to do her evaluation of me!! I was literally so shocked lollllll.
I didn’t tell on her so I’m not sure where you got that from. It sounds like you regularly give over the order the doctors put in? That should be your license right there.
What? A nursing dose is not used with a med with danger of toxicity and electrolyte imbalance, like lithium! And they should not be given for any med, if one is an ethical nurse.
Um, what kind of answer is that? Feeling called out? If you’re one who is upset over calling out “nursing doses” then you shouldn’t be allowed to touch patients and your license should be revoked
