My wife and I recently gifted each other rebinds from Floresh Bibles for our 12th anniversary. Lindsay’s work is phenomenal! Her communication, flexibility (allowing us extra ribbons), pictures along the way, and even a personalized video in response to a question I had about the break in process for the paste down liner make her work top notch for me!
I’m a new rebinder and the amount of encouragement and tips / feedback I’ve received from Tim has been amazing and humbling. I’d owe him 20 of my bibles even if he never features me on his channel. Definitely owe him at least 1 now! Appreciate you Tim. Guy. Praz’n Kajun Bibles. C’est Bon!
I either already have rebinds or have projects going with all of the 12 except Full Cup, Resurrection Rebinding, and Rex Rebinds. They are all AMAZING Craftsmen and Craftswomen. I still need to get the ones I don't got one day, too. But for me, and I have thought about this a lot, Cherry Hill is about to make my absolute "The One". I have never been as excited as what I am fixing to have David Dalfino do for me. Thank you, Nickels, for all your hard work, and I hope you get to 10k real soon. God Bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️ and GO BIG BLUE💙
Great giving credit where credit is due. All are fantastic craftsman. Resurrection Rebind is my personal favorite but as you said all have a case for #1
I have 2 by PTL. The first one, my smaller Clarion "tester" is absolutely amazing in every category. My second, full size Quentel, which I was really hoping would live up to the first, is a bit less stellar albeit still amazing. The workmanship is no less, it is the leather used I am not as happy with but then there is the whole "not all goats are the same and all have their own character". It is just that I prefer the character of the first to the second. Looking to try a different rebinder for my next rebind and this is, in addition to the previous vid, a perfectly timed video for me and I will be looking at them all. Thank you.
So happy to know that my only two rebinds (One already done by Neil and another one currently in progress by Daniel) are in the top 2 people's choice!!! Shows that I have made a really wise decision to go with them!
Frost Leather is the best of the best in my book. All these folks are amazingly talented but Frost’s style is exactly what I love and his craftsmanship is second to none. Great video though and we are blessed with such a skilled group of rebinders!
I wonder if there is a preference in rebinding regular vs study Bibles. It seems (some how and don't ask me why) that study Bibles would be less desireable. This topic may sound silly, but it is stuck in my head. Love the variety of Bible reviews and subjects you offer Tim.
