I'm a student and have a bit of my own skills under my belt. I'm surprised that this isn't on the list: you have a bladder of steel ....or at least can hold it for an extended period of time!
The field of early childhood needs reflective, intentional practitioners. Your comment demonstrates your thoughtfulness and self-awareness. I think children would be fortunate to have a guy like you caring for and educating them. I say: Go for it! Best of everything to you :)
You should go for it , honestly my family told me the same and I just dived into the program and it's amazing . It might seem like just babysitting to some people but ece's are teachers !!! children absorb the most information the easiest at the age of 3 :) !!! so you would be a teacher just setting the basis for the rest of their life :) !!! I have a few men in my class right now and they fit fight in . good luck !!
I work in a pre school but even before that I could have still related to many of these such as hoarding craft supplies and finding alternative uses for things. But the farting and letting children take the blame, oh my, every week, this is a joy. My four year old niece even admitted to doing the same thing in school😆.
im a bloke 22 years old. im a bit lost in life at the moment no idea what to do, I was a pub manager, wasn't the right environment for me, now I work at maccas I prefer it much more but I need to find a career, my parents suggested childcare to me a while back but I was to determined to be a cop to listen, now im actually thinking about it, im a very caring and very sensitive guy, I dunno, as a guy would I make a good match for such an industry?
Richard is an awesome speaker. He tells it like it is. You gotta get down in the trenches with the kids and master the art of passing gas and say "someone's got a poopy diaper."
2 guys in there. Classic because for me I'm the only guy in my class with girls, but out of the 80 girls there are only 3 guys. But ELCC is fun and interested.
I'm gonna start my "Early Childhood Educator" studies in September, and to be honest, can't wait to be covered in glitter and wear hand made jewelries.
I just finished my highschool and really want to be a kindergarten teacher. Soo if i do a 2 years course after college in early childhood education is enough or should i do a 4 year's course in early childhood education? I really need guidance.
