And this is the only time people would even wanna talk about Olimar, only to defend to defend Ridley. It’s so much easier to make a tiny character feel small than it is to make a huge character feel big in smash. I love Ridley but she’s still so jarring to look at standing next to Charizard.
R.I.P. Chris and Etika. It just feels so wrong say Rest in Peace Etika because it's still such a shock... But he's much happier whenever he is and so is Chris and they get to do something we don't they get to play Smash Bros with Iwata. but besides that welcome back.
It does make me wonder, would he put either Kazuya or Sora on a newer list? I’d figure he would find a spot for Sora somewhere under Banjo. Frankly, it wouldn’t be right to rip that No. 1 spot away from him after so long.
Your speech about Banjo and Kazooie shows how much it means that your favorite characters are in Smash. I never played BJ but seeing how people were excited for them make me so happy.
Min Min to me is what Banjo is to FM, albeit not as nostalgia heavy. They did her so much justice, replicating her moveset from ARMS perfectly, from her side smashes/specials acting as each respective arm, to even her up smash being her reflector kick. She's literally the most perfectly accurate I've wanted a Smash character to be, and I'm still super happy she got in, even amongst the other crazy characters in ARMS to choose from. I know she isn't really popular (as a playable character, I should stress), and that kinda sucks. But I also don't really care. I'm having too much of a great time playing as her.
I know you man,We Banjo Kazooie mains,Min Min and Piranha Plant mains need to stick together,considering our characters aren't really talked that much,compared to the rest of the DLC
With every new DLC character that gets released, it might not be my dream come true (which would be Shantae or Scorpion by the way), but I know that it’s someone else’s dream. And I’m glad that Min Min was that said dream for ya.
First few seconds and I'm already crying. Etika was a light for us all, rest in peace. I don't think I need to cover his memory any more than the rest of the internet has, but the fact that you also included Chris Taylor in your dedication really hit me. I remember reading Chris's story on Twitter in the leadup to Smash Ultimate, and it was the first time I joined an online petition to Nintendo. And the fact that the petition worked is one of the points of faith I have in humanity. Nintendo of America heard our pleas and sent him a rep with the E3 build of the game to play for one day with his friends. The few pictures from that day were absolutely beautiful. Sadly, Chris passed away before the full game released, but I believe that we fulfilled his dying wish, and that fact alone gives me strength. Rest in peace, Christ Taylor. Rest in peace, Desmond Amofah. May you both be smashing together on the other side.

I feel like Etika’s death shouldn’t have happened. I think he was pushed over the edge to do so by a very infamous RU-vidr who’s name I won’t mention due to him being disliked and any mention of him tends to go poorly in videos.
As a Banjo Kazooie main, seeing all the hate the character gets from the competitive community, it gave me sooo much ecstasy just to see him at number one on this list. Bless you Fawful’s Minion. BLESS YOU!!!

Even though I never played any Banjo Kazooie games, I can still feel the passion and impact they had on people, and I couldn't help but tear up at the number one spot.

Great taste with the top 2! Ultimate Pac-Man and Banjo-Kazooie are my favorite characters in Smash bros history. I have so much fun with those 2 and Steve

Good list. Some of the new characters are a blast. I love the Belmonts. I would probably have found a way to put Megaman on the list :). I know it is kind of lame to pick two originals but Mario and DK are a blast as well.

Regarding newcomers, I became a Banjo and K. Rool main. I had a Rowlet as a Starter in Sun and Litten in Ultra Moon so either Incineroar or Decidueye would’ve been a win. I named mine Blaze, if I get another I might call it Rath. Also another question, how would you feel if Popeye (Who had a game by Nintendo) was the final character in the second fighters pass? It’s impossible but I’d love it.
Your script was really confusing... but then you put Banjo & Kazooie at #1, and this whole video was worth it! As one who voted for them in the Smash Ballot, this is a dream come true, and I do hope we'll see them again in some form on the Nintendo scene.

Good to have you back Logan. Your list is solid and I like some of the choices. Pyra and Mythra, Joker, Sephiroth, Lucario and Megaman would be on my list to name a few. Lucario, Pyra and Mythra are some of my favorite characters of all time and were really well written and developed characters in their respective franchises. Shulk is also up there for his character development and him being willing to help others even if they don't ask for it.
Truly, Smash Bros is something grander than a mere crossover fighting game. It has become THE crossover fighting game. One, which so much fun to be had, with crazy combinations of some of the most iconic characters in gaming history, up to and including gaming LEGENDS. I think we can all believe that this game, THIS GAME, is truly amazing. If anything else, it's a pure blast mixing up everything in absurd and incredible ways, such as serious fighters like Ridley or Sephiroth brawling with the likes of Kirby and Olimar in the world of Animal Crossing, accented with a rampaging Rathalos and a random Alolan Exeggutor standing around, every fighter somehow holding Homerun bats. Tell me that isn't hilarious and amazing.
