I let out the most ugly laugh when you referred to Verizon-I’m sorry, Virizion-as Venasaur. Also god, I will never forgive GameFreak for shoving aside XY’s potential. I love SM, don’t get me wrong, but it angers me that XY never got its sister game to expand upon Zygarde and instead the poor snake is relegated to a fucking watered-down fetchquest in the next game.

I've been watching your channel consistently for like 5 years and calling Verizion "Venusaur" in the #6 subtitle thing is probably the funniest thing you've ever done

Fun fact: Heatran is such a forgettable Legendary that a random background Trainer in the anime is feeding one in the Sinnoh League arc and nobody comments upon it.

It still weirds me out that Heatran can be either male or female, but putting them in the daycare together does nothing.

As a Mystery Dungeon fan, I have to say I have a soft spot for Virizion.

I just wish Zeraora was Electric/Fighting. I can't believe that combo still hasn't been used 8 generations later, and a unique typing would have at least helped people remember that it exists. Oh well, it was still pretty good on my mono-electric team.

Surprised at the Heatran slander. You can say it's uninspired and it's true it has little to do with the story, but that fella was a top choice in competitive Singles all the way up until it got cut in Sword and Shield. Common weaknesses and meh signature move aside, it was a powerhouse with an great type combo and ability; people often gave it stuff like Air Balloon to mitigate its Ground weakness. Well, it's low on the list so I guess I can let it slide. Although I'd argue Normal Forme Deoxys is worse since Heatran has huge moveset potential and Deoxys Normal is outclassed to the point that no one uses it seriously. Oof, Zygarde slander, too. "A bit more HP"? It actually doubles its base HP stat which gives it ridiculous bulk despite the requirement needed for it to transform. The competitive community sneered at this guy too at first because "it just has more HP", only to soon wind up banning it to Ubers because of how easily it can set up Coil or Dragon Dance, and Thousand Arrows makes it extremely hard to switch into safely. I'll give you that it was completely snubbed story-wise, though (except in the anime).

The first time I encountered Virizion, I didn't know it was a grass\fighting type. My first pokemon on the field was a Tranquill. No guesses as to what happened next

Yeah, I had a feeling that Zeraora would be on here. Hell, I had no idea that it was a legendary first time I heard mention of it. I really like its design, though. Kind of like a cat like Lucario.

10: I mean I get why, but there has to be a basis for this guy. It's less a combat form and more a chilling out form. If he could change forms as the fight went like in the anime or aegislash would do 3 generations later, he would've been busted. 9: Concept could've been better, but I still enjoyed this spider. Especially when it's the only legendary with a gender (not specie specific) which means they can actually breed with themselves (though the games would never allow it). 8: The worst of a trio competitively, and you have to chase it around the region. Makes sense to an emotion pokemon to be playful. 7: Yeah I stopped caring about mythicals as time went on, and this was one I forgot was even added. He didn't really even get time to shine thanks to dexit. 6: I mean I get why you don't like this phone company, but I honestly like it's mythical 4th entry less than it. Atleast it got some love. 5: Stealth rocks everywhere, makes ya wonder why charizard is loved so much. 4: Yeah, I'm still hoping for an ice type defensive buff at some point like how steel's was nerfed. 3: Strong Bird 2: Frozen Boogaloo. Same problem as the last 2 entries, compounded. 2: The most criminal of problems. This guy had so much going for him, and he never got the chance to shine. 1: The only surprise is that this guy was ever put in the state he is. I love everything about this golem and he would even be my main...... if he never had slow start. I honestly think truant is a better ability cause you're atleast at full strength. Bonus: Where's phione? I mean I get why cosmog wasn't allowed, but phione cannot evolve into manaphy so it can't fall under that rule. It's a straight up worse version of the pokemon you need in order to get it. Heck, even Regigigas with slow start is stronger than this thing, who can atleast have partners to help him out. I can't think of anything to redeem phione in any way, except being apart of a Death Stranding parody.

You know what we need? Mega Arceus. No wait, wait... I've got something even better... PRIMAL Arceus.

Heatran? It's been one of the best pokemon in OU in every generation

Heatran is good. Alot of resistances that are balanced out by one 4x weakness.

Generations 4 & 5 added SO MANY LEGENDARIES, it's ridiculous. Sinnoh added 14 while Unova added 13, & half of them could be cut with nothing lost (Phione especially)

As much as I love my boi Regigigas, his single battle potential leaves MUCH to be desired. When paired with a Contrary Spinda with Skill Swap in doubles, on the other hand? Then you’ve got something a little more interesting on your hands.

I'm glad Sword/Shield only had 3 new legendaries, ever since gen4 there's been so many legendaries that they stopped being special and most of which are filler afterthoughts. I prefer to have a smaller number of legendaries that are more important.

Wow, Heatran as number 9? I understand that going by Smogon standard rules is a bit rough around the more casual Pokemon fanbase, but yikes. Heatran is a beast of a Pokémon, a nice typing with lots of resistances, offensive power and nice stats. Keep it away from Ground moves sure, but every Pokemon has a weakness surely. I figure there are worse Pokémon than Heatran to fit on the list.

Oh, and I absolutely cheesed 100% zygarde in sun and moon by getting myself a couple normal ones via gts and transforming them into cells...

Too early of a call on SwSh, it has no new mythicals in its data surprisingly.

At least Zygarde got several badass moments in the XYZ anime. Seriously, his role in Lysandre's defeat is awesome.

I love Zeraora so much but it was so depressing when it showed up so late into USUM that I barely got to use it... But it’s in SwSh so maybe it’s time for round two

Dang your choices are actually some of my favorite. Heatran was so cool and the swords of justice including virizion from black and white were awesome as well. Regigigas is super cool as welll even if it has an awful ability.

Zeraora to me is a cool pokemon with wasted potential. It's design is appealing and it's stats are interesting, but... pure electric? When it learns nearly as many fighting moves as electric and it's pokedex entries *constantly* refering to it as a close quarters fighter, AS WELL as Plasma Fists changing Normal type moves into Electric types? Make it Electric/Fighting to make it more unique as well as be more useful, and make it available in game for anyone to get (like you should) and boom, you got a great pokemon many would want to use.

I like the concept behind the Regis; being that they're golems constructed to represent the 3 known ages humanity bore witness to - the Stone Age, the Ice Age, and the collective Metal Ages - it's a unique idea that paints the Regis as these stalwart sentinels watching over mankind and Pokemon alike. It's hilariously ironic to consider that the Metal Ages is, at present, the youngest of the 3, since the Stone Age lasted some 3.3-million years and lasted for over 2.5-million; meanwhile the Ice Age lasted somewhere around 2.4-million (if you rounded up) and, ya know, it puts in to perspective just how ironic Regice's execution is that its regular defense is so trash-tier that it can get dunked on so easily by its older & younger counterparts. And yeah, I get where people are coming from saying Regigigas is an AWESOME legendary when you use the proper setups...but that's just it, isn't it? On its own, Regigigas is less viable than a Slaking, since Slaking at least retains its monstrous stats despite the once every other turn movement, contrary to Regigigas which has its devastatingly powerful stats halved for FIVE TURNS! That's an eternity in RPG time, how am I supposed to make this chunky clunker survive five turns on its own!? O.o

I'm going to be honest here: I totally forgot that Moltres existed. I mean, I would have totally remembered it on my own if I had stopped to think about it, but until I saw it again now I was under the weird impression that Ho-Oh was the Fire type bird of the three legendary birds. Somehow. I feel really, really stupid right now.

Zeraora is actually one of my favorites. ^-^;;; I think his design is badass.

Zygarde isn't a Bad Legendary. He is Very strong. And when his Skill activates, it heals him high up again. He has like 696 hp and tanks much. Even having the ways to go special or physical dmg makes him pretty ridic. Sadly he is just look as: WASTED POTENCIAL rather than what he can do.

Why bring up competitive viability for some of them, and not for others, especially Heatran and Zygarde.

Rather than criticize any entries on the list, I'm instead going to mention that the video should be called Legendaries and Mythicals rather than just Legendaries. This is just a nitpick though. You have every right to disregard this if I seem petty.

I don't know how your gonna come up with 10. I like all the legendaries even the regis have grown on me recently. I guess if I had to choose though my least favorite would be xerneas and yveltal.

Verision is the only sword of justice I can remember consistently. Not sure why but the others just leak out of brain with the other non-box art legendaries from gen 5

The Legendary birds might not belong on this list now with their galarian forms available. They're not stupidly op, but now they are a lot more interesting and viable.

The worst part is we got gen 4 remakes and yet they didn't buff Regigigas or Arceus.

Azelf would have made way more sense as a somewhat annoying roaming legendary since its the one that represents willpower.

the ordering of this list feels kinda weird to me.

Regigigas also got the shaft in that its the only Pokemon that can learn TMs but can't learn Protect, so stalling is much more difficult than it needs to be.

Heatran? Sure it's not the most notable legendary, but it's a beast in competitive battling. A true tank that can both dish out and take damage with ease.

Virizion looks so much better than Terrakion tbh - it’s fat & ugly and doesn’t fit with the others :x I never understood why people dislike Virizion. But hey, the more feminine looking Pokémon almost always get hated on, so it’s not really surprising.

Wondering why the Arceus theme was used with Zeraora. That really threw me off. Almost made me think it was an Arceus diss.
