Back in the day, my girlfriend and I went all out and dressed up circa 1930s and stayed at the Golden Gate. The rooms are quite small but it was a great experience! People thought we worked at the Hotel😂
My favorite place is 4 queens to stay, nothing real fancy, nice staff, clean rooms, in middle of freemont street, and until last time there in Jan 2022 no resort fees, not sure if Resort fee now. When i saw the sports book at circa my thought was wow. Keep up the good work Dani 😃
Great video that provides a much better picture of downtown that goes beyond Fremont. So glad to see someone finally highlight the Underground bar. It's one of my favorites in Vegas and I always make a stop there.
Hi Dani, that horse racing game looks very addictive. I might spend a couple hours doing it. I love your Vegas videos, just as fascinating as Adams road trip videos. I wanted to ask, what do you think of the big dragon catching fire at Disneyland? 🥺
Great video Dani! I wasn't aware of the Stadium Swim area on the 6th floor. Ill have to check that out next time im in Vegas. That place looks cool as heck. Can you please try to do a video while at the swim so all of us can have a deeper look? Also i w didn't know about that lil horse race. On my next visit i need to dive deeper into Freemont St instead of the normal walk thru and short stops at ground level. Too much to list how much i learned in this video, the bottles, the room key,the ledger etc... Loved this video. Thanks for sharing!
Seem to win better on Fremont Street playing slots. Like that old school feel to Fremont Street. Another great vlog Dani! We went to Epcot yesterday and when we passed thru UK pavilion we thought of Eddie and his fish n chips!
I went to Las Vega a few months ago and just spent time on the "new" strip. I am disappointed I didn't go to Freemont st. The Vegas strip for me was akin to theme park, instead of buying tickets everything costs a fortune and didn't really care for it much. But to each his own.
Can you imagine getting hammered on a roof terrace while casually watching an atomic bomb explosion? Enjoyed this, as I do with all of your reports. Cheers!
Awesome, Dani. I am curious about that Haunted room. I am not a beer drinker, but that beer place looks cool. Where exactly is that place to get the frozen apple cider?
You should of mentioned in your "largest" part the Heart Attack Grill's 20,000c burger. It is in the Guinness World Records as the most calorific burger.
Great video ! I knew of some of these , some I did not , Like To stay at el cortez though , container park great barbecue , Gotta go check out that giant nugget though it's ginormous , Great work guys thank you , Take care
Love the video Dani. Let me say what you can't. If you love Fremont and it's street performers do ZERO business with the Neon Satan Derek Stevens or anything he owns. For those that don't know thats the D, Circa, the Golden Gate and the Downtown Events center. This absolutely greedy bastard feels like any money not made by him is wasted and has spent his entire Fremont history doing everything he can to get rid of the performers.
Really disappointing Dani, you didn't even mention where the golden nugget was found! I'm from Victoria Australia and I just returned from Vegas last month. I was absolutely blown away learning this was found approx. a 3 hour drive away from where I live. Not once did you even show the plaque that explains it, WTF??? Way to waste a HUGE POTENTIAL TOURIST ATTRACTION!!!!! I guess the Aussie tourists don't matter to you?!?!?!?!?
Plenty of shops????? Seriously?? If you want tacky souvenirs and $3.99 Las Vegas t shirts. And Marijuana dispensaries. There are no nice shops on Fremont Street anywhere. I'm a Vegas regular and I like the Fremont Hotel. But I rarely stay there now. Fremont Street has deteriorated dramatically over the years.
When I was young growing up in Vegas I could hardly wait to turn 21 😆. Downtown is the place I love. I Remember in 1984 I could finally go and actually play it was and still is a fun place. Great video Dani !!!
There is also a really cool, albeit insanely overpriced, toy store down there, called Toy Shack, that has a lot of toys from the 70's, 80's, & 90's. Whenever I am in town I like to walk around in there and reminisce about my childhood in the 80's
I love the Mob Museum. And I was surprised to find they added stage shows and live DJs to the overall experience. I also loved the circles where the street performers are suppose to stay.
The enclosure was actually the SECOND choice as an attraction. The first choice in the early 90s was going to be a life sized Enterprise starship from Star Trek!! It would have been a hotel casino with attractions and restaurants. It all boiled down to one Paramount executive who last minute decided NOT to let it happen!! (This is obviously before the Star Trek Experience at Hilton) When this plans fell thru they went with the Viva enclosure. Can you imagine?? Great vid gain Dani. I appreciate that you did most filming during the day! Such a different take on Fremont when the sun is up!! Lol.
Thanks, Dani! Another great video. I'm glad you showcased the historic pieces they have at the Gloden Gate. I love stopping there, but I'm so focused on getting a drink or getting on a table that I don't look around in detail. Thanks to you, I will next time. It looked very cool!
Hey Dani. Great rundown of Fremont Street. Over the years I’ve come to prefer Fremont Street over the Strip. I love the El Cortez. The cafe has a pretty good breakfast. That whole area around El Cortez has really been cleaned up from what it was years ago. Main Street Station is cool and has a good beer pub. In the men’s room there’s also a piece of the Berlin Wall which is kind of unique. If you want to really treat yourself there’s Oscar’s Steakhouse up in the dome inside the Plaza Hotel. Fantastic place. Have a good day Dani!
Have never been down to Fremont so this was very enlightening for me. It seems they recaptured the intimacy that the strip lost when the mega resorts grew in size and distance from the strip. This definitely a must go.
It is must see but not stay for long one thing everyone leaves out is the addicts that are all over Freemont and if your not Carfull easily pick pocketed
Use to stay free @ the Venetian on the strip all the time. After we found out about Freemont St , we only stay @ the "D" or the Circa from now on. FREE live bands, FREE stay, food, promos etc. on FREEmont Street 🎉
Vintage Las Vegas yes !!! New stuff is garbage. I could hang with you all day talking Vegas. DON'T forget Diamonds are Forever filmed downtown. Jame Bond movie.
I lived in Vegas 17 years I worked on Fremont got beat up by someone robbing the store suffered a broken femor a month in the hospital watched lite show five nights a week big deal if your going to Vegas skip Fremont don't bring yours kids there the horse game has been there a very long time my grandfather new al Capone
I’ll be in Vegas this coming August For the weekend to party and to chill I can’t wait to meet you in person and to take a picture with you it will be my first time in Las Vegas as a Adult but I have been to Vegas as a kid back in the day
Have you done either the Nevada State Museum or Clark County Museum? I love both of them, and would like to see your take on them as lesser known tourist sites. Great channel!
Freemont Street is one of my favorite places to go. Oscars is one of my favorite in Vegas, such a hidden gem. This is a rite of passage for me as a kid and also my kids. Lots of questions when we first go 😂. Great Tour Dani. What is your favorite in that area?

I stayed at the Golden Gate for 5 nights and loved it, room was facing Freemont and above the free live show. It was a small stage then but has got bigger. Every time we come to Vegas from the UK we always have a night on Freemont. Love how it's a bit rough and ready, with live bands, weird acts, bit of old Vegas. Just something different and a cool vibe. Never noticed the museum pieces in the Golden Gate will have to keep an eye out next time. We said when we do come back we should stay in Freemont for a couple of nights then a few on the Strip to mix things up. Circa looked great when we had a look inside would be keen to stay there.
