We hope everyone will comment:* Best: Delta Aquarids meteor shower on the night of July 28 and early morning of July 29. However, this year, the second quarter moon will affect the observation of some faint meteors. If weather conditions are favorable and you're in a place with little city lights, you can still see some bright and beautiful meteors. Most important: Mercury is at its greatest eastern elongation on July 22. This is your best chance to see Mercury with the naked eye because it will be highest in the sky at sunset . However, both events have their own meaning and beauty, depending on your preferences and observing conditions. If you love the romance and magic of meteor showers, Delta Aquarids is a great choice. If you are interested in observing the planets in the solar system, Mercury at maximum elongation is an event not to be missed.

Completely wrong when you say the sun has nothing to do with the weather.... but most importantly, has nothing what so ever to do with Astronomy, so why mention it?
