Michigan is so underrated. We have a winter wonderland, the color's of fall, spring flower's and the sunshine of summer. An added bonus the UP... a little slice of heaven! The most beautiful views that will be etched in your heart and memory forever.
Muldune pasties are very good. They lack the fold that the miners threw away, because their hands were muddy dirty. The folded over crust was perfect for miners. It also told you what was Inside by the way it was folded.
From WI here...experienced some of the most wonderful and interesting people in the UP when I was a teen...I am now 69....I Never forgot these people, and the beauty of Upper Michigan
My wife and I did the pictured rocks kayaking tours. We got lucky with the water and it was super calm. Highly recommend that way to see everything too.
Such a random travel video lol. But luckily for me, one that I will use since the Michigan high point is in the UP and this will come in handy when I eventually bag it. All of these places look amazing
Good video, thanks for featuring the awesome natural beauty of Michigan’s UP. I did catch one error in your narrative. You said while crossing the Mackinac Bridge that you had views of both Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. The other side is Lake Huron, not Superior.
Ive been to many of these attractions, they are very beautiful, if you go to the one with the wooden barge you're infor a treat beautiful blue watter and i think there are a bunch of fish that swim around and you can seem them very well, theres an open area on the barge that lets you look down into the blue water, it also looks like a hot spring is coming up from the rocks.
Other commentators noted the Porkies, and the Keweenaw. I retired to Ontonagon, a sleepy little town that is a short drive to either. Also, lake Gogebic!
Nice video, definitely enjoyed the scenery again. Travel to the UP regularly and love it there. Oddly enough I've got a daughter living in the UP and one in Pittsburgh. Believe me after comparing the open roads in the UP, you'll need therapy from your sponsors after driving in Pittsburgh. Hopefully that went over well.
Of course, I realize you mean geographically, but considering Wisconsin wasn't a state when Michigan received the territory, that makes only a tiny bit of sense.
You’re going to LOVE it! It’s such a beautiful part of the U.S. We visited mid-September (we were probably one week early to catch the leaves in their colorful phase). I’ve also visited in the winter and had a wonderful time exploring the winter wonderland. What time of the year are you thinking of going? -Michael
@@cheezballz92 Thats such a beautiful time to visit! We're keeping our fingers crossed you'll get to see the leaves in their perfect colors! Hope its a great trip! :)
