Thanks for the recommendation on Roberto's in Del Mar. We had walked down to State Park beach from the Torrey Pines Hilton which was quite a walk. Looking for the nearest place to eat from the beach, Google showed me Roberto's was just 1.1 miles away. Remembering your video, my wife and I made the walk over and had a great lunch. Then we had to walk back "home" to our hotel. A good day of walking for us.
@@Jaycation I’ve been up here in Portland for almost 5 years! I love the forests up here but I am really missing the SD beaches. The desert is also great this time of year. Lived in Scripps Poway Pkwy before they even built the Vons, like 25 years or something. You know 1000 times more places and things to do than me around San Diego. I've been binge watching your videos to make up for times I wasted trying to find something to do. Keep up the good work and maybe do a video on Poway or something close cause I'm sure I'm missing out.

Thanks Jay. That was beautiful. I haven't been there in many years. Have you been down the Fat Man's Misery trail? It's an eroded groove so narrow, even you might have to turn sideways. The trails appear so regulated with the ropes, they may not have FMM open now. Keep up the good work.
Would you say the beach trail down to the beach is okay for beginners? Ive been hiking before just want to make sure it's not extreme like hiking in the Sequoias park?
