Whenever Ryan Leaf is interviewed, I listen. This dude gets me hyped. His ability to talk openly about his failures is absolutely astonishing and of course helpful. Great interview.

As a young die hard san diego charger fan i grew up hating ryan. But damn i respect the hell out of the man he’s become. And now he’s one of the few if not the only talking head out there who’s fearless and actually honest. In a world of luke warm commentary or clickbait hot takes. He’s the only one out there speaking only truths with a depth of knowledge of the sport and unafraid of being “cancelled”. The more of ryan leaf in the sports world the better.

I admire Ryan Leaf for his honesty and perspective. Not feeling like he's a top tier resource for evaluating team talents and personnel. At least he's upfront about his bias like with Sean Payton. Great interview K

Kay, you are simply the best!

I remember vividly making fun of this dude a lot when he failed in NFL and then got sent to jail. I will say he has definitely became someone I appreciate more. I caught him years back on the Rich Eisen show and now make a point to listen to him being interviewed or guest hosting shows.

Appreciate the Ryan Leaf interview, I don't know anyone that has had a more definitive redemption tour the past decade than him. He's humble and upfront about his issues and uncommon for sport figures in general. I was disappointed, but not surprised they pulled away from Kay when Ryan was lambasting Sean Payton, I thought Kay deserved an anime exclamation sound effect because I know she likes Sean as an interview guest. Maybe Ryan was grumpy from not getting enough sleep because of his newborn, but that was hardcore dislike from Ryan to Sean, but i liked the honesty for whatever reason. Keep up the great work Kay!

Ryan is so dang good at his job. You did it stud! This version of you is good to see. As a huge Charger fan I have no ill feelings about Mr. Leaf. He is a man that has owned his past and makes no excuses. Big fan.

It's admirable what Ryan's overcome in the past but he looks and sounds like he's using again. Biased takes, clearly dislikes Denver/Payton on a personal level. Payton NEVER pretended like he wasn't going to coach Russ. And how did Payton mess things up when the team improved by 3 wins? And could have been more. Denver will be a contender again. May take 2 seasons but only because they dont have the overall talent. He'll eat his words. Plus he blasted Jay Glazer for being a mental health advocate and a mental health friend of Michael Phelps!? This dude is a clown !! Lost all respect for him ! His hatred of Payton clearly shows the lack of mental fortitude he had as a player and why it didn't work out for him on the field AND why he blew up on a reporter in the locker room. He has no backbone and couldn't be coached hard, so he blew a fuse and started using. Leaf is a good name for you because you've fallen (again).
