Had a nice school of threadfin showup. We had fun fishing for them with GT ice cream lures. Landed only a couple and managed to only get one on video. But there were plenty of top-water blow-ups that were great fun.
Back in 2011 during my spare time at work between calls i used to read your articles on Indian angler's page.... read every article and also watched every Video of you on RU-vid...... Tight lines 🎣
As soon as I saw your legend I was like "Where is the mojo?" glad you took it out later. Looks like the c-gar minnow action is picking up after I stopped fishing it !! Can't wait to catch another thread-fin salmon , a very special fish for me! Carry some Hopkins and diamond jigs , I still remember the Rawas T-boning my hopkins spoon out of the water ,still wonder how come I didn't hook it?
Visit as soon as you can. Let's fish and have a blast. I'm out of Diamond jigs, but I'll get some when I can. Those A26 should work like a dynamite here. I missed so many hook ups as well. Happens with the threadfins...
Hello Sir, i have been watching your videos for a while now and am eager to get into surf fishing, i am a native of Kashmir and have fished in streams and lakes for trout and carp. Id love to start fishing again, I'm based in Chennai for a while now. Wanted to talk to you about equipment and fishing spot in and around the area.
Thank you! Chennai has good surf fishing. Kovalam beach is a good place to fish from and there are other places as well. Please contact Poseidon sports g fishing tackle in Chennai and they should have the right equipment you need and will help you out choose the right gear.
Yes, work kept me busy. Will try and upload more frequently. Inflatable is doing fine. It is worth it in my opinion. Be safe and hope you don't mind the work it takes to get the boat setup and to deflate and pack it back into the car after you're done fishing. It is a bit of effort though.
Can you please let me know what you'll be fishing for and what length rod you're planning to fish it with. 8000 is quite big. I'm using a 6000 saragosa on a 9' rod and I'm mostly good with that.
@@KonkanFishing .. Thanks for replying.. Target are the GT's and some big game from the shore.. Rod is going to be a 9+ H.. hence thinking of getting a reel with that is versatile
The Saragosa 6000 is perfect for 30# braid with 9' rod. If you're fishing rocky shore for big GTs, then I suggest that you go for the Saragosa 10000 reel as it's basically the same as Saragosa 8000, but with more line capacity. So, that you can even use heavier line with it.
