Itabashi always has a smirk on his face win or lose. He's like that skinny little kid in every arcade who smirks at you every time he beats you hahahah.
Daigo's spacing in last match was godlike. I was sure he was going to lose after Itabashi's solid comeback. I was wrong. And I'm glad for Daigo, he's a great sportsman and a funny guy. Congrats to Itabashi's fearsome Abigail too.

Daigo actually explained some tech on his streams prior to this about how if you fight Abigail w/ Guile, always use VS1 instead of 2. Hearing him talk about it, then actually demonstrate why is always so damn satisfying.
Joseph Wiard I hope you’re trolling/joking, but if you aren’t, Abigail obviously loses to: Guile, Sagat, Menat (maybe 5:5 but much harder for Abi), Rashid, Ed, and Sakura. Other matchups that I think Abi probably loses: Akuma, G, F.A.N.G, Alex (in previous seasons, not sure about season 5), Ryu (similar to Menat, much harder for Abi to play). There may be others, but those are the main ones I think. Might be able to include Falke and Ken as well.
I stopped playing this game 2 years ago or so. (I hated buying everything to play the characters I wanted.) But I still watch these tournaments because even though SFV was just a lame money grab, it’s gameplay was great and I can only hope sFVI is better
i realized after the first 2 rounds he give his match up a crap ton of openings and just has fun with the match even though he knows he can win. Hats off to you sir !
Daigo does this thing where he stops pressing buttons in the late and later mid game and it usually results in death. He is also very afraid of teching grabs on wakeup. Gotta stop doin that man
The matchup doesn't look that good for Guile, but Umehara somehow made it work quite interestingly. (Edit: the MU actually looks terrible for Guile XD)
wow, I stopped playing this game a couple years ago, but followed this game loosely. When Abigail came out, I hated how he looked and I still think he looks stupid. However, I am really digging this costume.
