One night I was fishing mackerel rock and a pea souper fog rolled in. I packed up as it was spooking me out, not being able to see without my headlight hitting a wall of fog. I'd come along the cliffs from the road (was before I knew about the parking) but darn't walk back that way in the fog in case I ended up walking too near the edge so opted to go inland. I couldn't see the paths though and ended up getting lost on the headland in the fog. It took me 2 hours to get back to my car but whilst out in the gloom, in the middle of nowhere, I could see a luminous green light shining in the fog. I thought "what the f*ck is that?" my imagination ran riot. I couldn't not investigate as had to put my mind at rest but once near it turned out to be glow worm. The first and only one I've ever come across. Bloody sh*t myself wondering what the f*ck was out there in the gloom in the middle of the foggy night, glowing luminous green 🤣🤣🤣

@timbc2434 this just put a massive smile on my face as I seen the first one and blanked it second one I thought I was Dehydrated then realised there was loads so had to check them out. Thanks for watching and a fantastic writeup

I left a few details out to be honest to shorten it but in the murcky gloom, way out on the remote ledge, with the wind having dropped off significanltly by now, I was left with just the sound of the waves lapping all around. It sounded like some unwholly scamperous critter, scuttling all around the rocks trying to encircle me, as though any moment from behind, I would be pounced upon, and be a gonner in the night. I packed up sharpish and unsheathed the filleting knife, just in case one of these unspeakable creatures was to block my path to salvation. Once out of the lair of these skitterish rock wraiths, not wanting to misfoot on the unlit cliffs, I made off, with the only aim of going uphill, thinking it the safest route. To begin with my stride uphill was a confident one but then as I crossed field after field to be met with thick hedge and nowhere to go I began to get increasingly frustrated, feeling like the weight of the fog was there to entrap me, to bring me to my demise and once the luminous green "eye", shining out eerily through the murk, fixed it's gaze upon me, the manifestation of an other worldly presence seemed inevitable. Was I going to end up as another anecdotal abduction story? or was it like you say, the blood of an injured predator? At the time, until I got close, I had no idea but I know one thing, I definitely wanted to "GET TO THE CHOPPAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Nice one mate, great video. You can't do any more than that. Hopefully we'll see more soon, im hoping this unsettled spell that's coming will shake things up and at least freshen up the water and bring the mackerel back 👍

That boat was the Waverley. Bad luck on the Tope, had a blank Sunday too. Plenty doggies though 😊

Pity about the lost tope there is some times a lesson to learn on a lost fish I missed 2 bass last week on a live bait float rig with a circle hook and was pissed off the got me thinking of a small trebble stinger and yesterday first cast bass !!! I heard you say you having problems at the moment as we all do I'd recommend taking it head on and sort things out is the best approach the longer you leave things the worse they get !!! Love your channel bud see you on the rocks one day ❤

Great video pal.Honestly brilliant effort I feel your pain. Keep going at it mate 💪💪 you'll get one, I went through a spell where I felt cursed 😂😂 it will pass mate and you'll drop on somewhere, the amount of ground they cover it's all about intercepting one and it will def. Many years ago kids used to collect glow worms and have them in a clear jam jar with holes in the lid, like a make do lantern lol. I suppose if you had collected a few Tommy it would have saved you a few quid on tip lights lol.
