'it doesn't fit much'. Subjective but really grateful for this review. I generally find most of the 'small' EDCs are too tall/big for my small frame and don't consider that not everyone carries around their laptop/tablet. Small, light, aesthetically pleasing backpacks are for me more like handbags (because I hate handbags) - for my ILC camera, wallet, umbrella and water. The mini topo canvas seems to hit the spot. Though that cyclo sling looks pretty cool...
Great video! You're the fist reviewer that actually packed tech that made it useful to me. And now that I have seen your video I'm sold on Topo. I have a couple of their packs but not these two. Great job!!
Thanks for that great review! I just ordered the rover mini in mud colour in canvas. Also ordered the mini duffle and the mini quick pack. I’m hoping to find a way to connect them to the rover even though they don’t have the D rings like the bigger pack has.
Great review. I saw this pack at the DEN airport and sat on it for a bit. Found the desert mars color for half off on their site a bit later. Looking forward to using it.
Looking at the dimensions the 23oz Miir is bigger then the 9oz swell bottle I used in the video. The side pockets are pretty tight. The 23oz Miir might fit inside the standard Rover Pack.
Thanks for this video. I’ve been holding out on picking one up until more reviews went up. Love how bubbly you are it’s great. Do you think it’s better than the Fjällräven Kanken?
The shoulder straps are far better on this bag but I LOVE my laptop kanken. I’ve used it both as a edc and travel bag. I’ll post a video soon covering my kanken.
Awesome and really complete review. My only question is could a 13" MacBook fit into the sleeve if you gave it a lil shove? Trying to find smalleat backpack that I can still carry my 13" MacBook in. Side note, you should check out chrome industries. I have a bunch of their bags and really really love them (I have a bag problem)
Awesome review. Backpack lover here. Currently using the klim Nac pak and loving it…Skinny water bottle pockets can be a hassle. More often than not a small flat flask type water bottle works best with backpacks anyway maybe you could give that a try. Right now I’m just looking at other backpack options (even though I am not in need of one….)and stumbled across your video.. I have been considering the 511 amp 10 I’m totally in to slim bags though.
I think a MacBook Air would be a tight fit. The only issue is....you won’t be able to carry much else inside the bag...because the bag capacity is limited.
The bag is pretty small. I consider it a well build version of those purse like backpacks they had in the 90s... or a backpack with the capacity of a medium size sling bag.
