This is exactly what I've been waiting for, they have all the features I want. Transparent, 4.4mm, PEQ, lots of power. Too bad its out of my budget at the moment but its nothing crazy expensive, this seems like my endgame, I really don't see a reason to get anything else.

@@crazyprayingmantis5596 Idk me personally, I don't think I will find something else better that's worth upgrading to from this. I don't think DAC/amps are supposed to even be audibly different from each other and most of them sound pretty much the same, excluding tube amps, at least I can't really tell a noticable difference. This has every feature I need and isn't ridiculously priced and more power than I'd ever need. Maybe something will come out that has everything this has for cheaper, in that case I'd buy that instead of this but I would not upgrade from this.

ZEOS I challenge you to make a video of using the dongle dacs as main dac on a pc while hooked up to your favorite headphone amp. I have been doing this with the M15 and the ifi XCan and I think it's amazing. But I would like to know what you think about a setup like this and how and what combinations you would pair together

I mean the Muse M3 Mk2 has a Line out mode so I'd do that with a 4.4 to XLR cable.. Or I still have the Woo Audio USB dac that is just wires.

I have this D50 III only and it's flat and small enough to carry it around in my laptop bag. I only power it with USB-C from my Macbook since it does both power and signal from a single USB-C cord. I don't use an amp cuz the D50 III is more than enough power for IEMs. It's the best "sit-down at a café and work on a laptop" DAC~

@@ZReviews Yes! I output from the 1/4" L/R TRS in the back into a single 1/8" adapter for my IEMs - the power is more than sufficient for like 99% of all IEMS probably. The sound is "flat" BUT crystal clear and great separation at all frequencies. Technically speaking it's a great experience, though there's no coloring or omph from an amp, per se. BUT this is where the programmatic EQ comes in! You can play around with the PEQ to imitate a good amp. Adjust it the way it fits best for your IEMs! My IEMs have recessed lower-mid to mids, so I PEQ then and now they sound the way I want it to! Since it only needs a single USB-C cord for power & signal I use it like a portable DAC - at least it's a flat pancake, lol. Not really for walking around, but great if you take it to a coffee shop or work and just sit down at a table.

I have a hard choice to make now between the A50s and the A50 Mk3 simple due to the logistics of my setup. I kind of need the preamp out of the A50s to not lose a function of my setup. Topping Pro - E2x2 OTG is my audio interface and DAC but has a optical out which I send to my S2000MKIII's and use them as monitors. But, to check mixes and just to add a subwoofer into listening, I need to use the analogue outs. That way I can A/B between subwoofer and no subwoofer my changing my input on the speakers. I want to have the A50s on top of the E2x2 so I have the means to drive anything if needed. The difference between the two apart from having balance connection on MK3 is 0.0006% THD on the MK3 and the 0.0007% THD on the S... will this ever matter? and the inputs not being balanced? Would there really be much difference if I need to compare headphones? Is it only going to be audible when pushing it stupidity hard? Do I care about 456 grain of dust in comparison to 459 grains of dust? Am I OCD-ing hard right now? (more of a perfectionist than OCD this sort of thinking is, OCD is when you need to repeat things a certain number of times, not just be anal about perfection)

For some reason about 6 months ago my D50 stopped connecting with my phone through the hibymusic app. sometimes it does work but not for more then 5 minutes. Same issue with a Teac i had years ago with Monkey app. When i try something with a hdd with music on a device and a phone as remote it seems to give up on me at some point. Don't know why. Makes me going back to my cd collection for the third time now and afraid to buy another one again.😔

Just dont buy china based gear. Quality control is unknown to them. Have a drawer full of toppings smsls fiios aunes that stop working under a year.

I understand your supporting the Tungsten. I don't want to spend $1400 on head phones.... My best pair are my balanced Z-Mod [with a nice cable #Forza] DT880's. Could you do a review on OUR tried and true to this next generation can. I have great gear, but these make me feel I am falling behind. Best, D.

Why get these over like a magni unity, which have almost the same power, measured almost as good but is 189$ and doesn't sound as boring. Or talking about a50 iii, why get that thing over a magni heretic for just 59$ that measured almost just as good and sounded not as boring.

I don't have enough Schiit in my life to compare to but, Balanced Connections, a Remote control, Bluetooth, Optical and Coax inputs. I love Schiit, but this is a different beast in most cases. That Boring sound may not be as boring as you remember also.

@@ZReviews you're paying 2.5-3.5 times more with the topping just for some convenience, and you can add all of that features (except balanced connector, which even in a90d that I owned, just a convenience to cope, not really sound better) for less than 100$ with something like the wiim mini(modi still have a coax and optical in btw, just no bluetooth, and a modi + magni plus is less than 200$, and a 6.3/3.5 to 4.4 adapter is another 20$ at best, so full combo from wiim to modi magni to 4.4 adapter will still cost less than 300$, and have a network streamer). In the past, I was a topping fan and don't like schiit because I think they're over price, now it's the complete opposite. I got mine a90d just because it's on flash sale for 280$ shipping and tax included, but that's 1 unit sale (brand new product).

I am annoyed with topping. I had a failing channel in my amp. The solution they gave me was to shove a piece of paper in the balanced hole before inserting the plug and call it a day.... No topping... no... you replace the unit. What in the hell kind of solution is that?
