I think Enzo's point around collectors being so loyal to Topps & Panini, anything new/different may be viewed as "not topps, not Panini". I think the key point there is the power of branding and collectors loyalty to the Topps & Panini brands, a new player would need to build a strong brand over time, Topps and Panini are around decades, each with their own strong high quality products.
