TEN SUMMER TOPS TO KNIT THIS SEASON
Summer is here, and while I love seeing the sun every day, the New York humidity has me craving autumn just a teensy little bit. But we’re here to enjoy the summer before the days turn colder again, and that includes knitting! I wanted to make a roundup of patterns for 10 summer tank tops that are cute, interesting to knit, easy to combine and (predominantly) bra-friendly. Have you knit any of these? Thank you! When I bought the yarns it definitely wasn’t intentional but now I see that it’s quite a colour scheme ☺️

I have knit 3 of the Totally Tank Tops so far this summer! They are definitely a wardrobe staple for me, and work in all sorts of fibers. I’ve used 100% merino, 60% cotton/40% linen, and 65% silk/35% linen yarns. It’s also a super easy to modify pattern!

Ohh wow, good to hear they work in so many different fibres! I really hope I'll still get to it this summer, but at the moment I'm thinking I might be too optimistic with my summer top knitting plans :D

Hey, I am currently knitting my second Golden Oak Tanktop by Amanita Knits and the Rococo Top by Sari Nordlund. Both have just recently been published and have a larger lace part, which I find very cute. Greetings from Germany 😎

the summer knits still left on my to - knit list for this year are the anker’s summer blouse, the cumulus tee, camisole 07 & 09 let’s see if I can’t get to all of them 😄

Your Gallax Top turned out beautiful ❤ I’m still trying to figure out if I want to use my Knitting for Olive Pure Silk in “sunflower” for the cumulus tee or if it will look better with a tank top pattern… You definitely gave me some great inspiration! So many important knitting decisions to make 😅

Thank you! And the KFO sunflower looks so pretty , I’m curious what you decide on making with it at the end ! “Worst” case, if you like it, maybe you just have to make the cumulus tee AND a tank top with it ? 😅

Ohh I love the look of it! I'd considered putting it onto this list but I wanted to keep it to one pattern per designer, but it was a close call. Can't wait to see yours!!
