Ive seen it happen 2-3 times in divine bracket last few months and it absolutely destroyes everything.. early mid Tower, early rosh, early wraith pact and early HG.. its rly good if you know how to Chen
Its not really OP actually, chen just a natural enemy of arc warden.. A hero like arc warden (who cant jungle until you have maelstrom), fighting chen who has neutral creeps with bonus HP and damage + penitence for atk spd is very overwhelming.. How do u kill chen if u cant even use your spark wraith and flux, you cant even kill one neutral yourself..
Never played against Chen mid as Arc, but yeah it seems awful to try to play against. Lycan and Lone Druid feel like insta losses to me, their "creeps" just have too much HP to take down. Invoker isn't so bad, coz his Forge Spirit can be killed, Brood is annoying but not the worst since you can usually dodge her and go jungle by 6. Meepo isn't awful since he has to put his hero in danger of death to dive you. Naga's also a pain coz she just straight up ignores you and farms hella fast before you even get midas. I guess people hate Arc because when he's last picked, you can't really crush him mid without one of those heroes, without Arc stepping real far out of position.
@@gutenman7112 Chen can't win Lina anyway or TA that two Hero need Laning and pretty good at clearing Lane at lvl 3 , that two Hero is just painfull for Chen player i played Chen as 4 and try harras Pos 5 Lina it just like giving him free gold
Yeah, arc warden got countered really hard by Chen. Arc got no utility against crowd in the early game and flux is pretty much useless here even though it's the only utility you have to create an opportunity to make a counter play.

Don't forget 120 as for every unit who attacks a target with penitence applied, even towers, ss wards, veno wards and the most broken wd ult. No DMG amp tho...
Nowadays everyone who suck say this. No hero is broken. You are just too bad to counter. Dota needs team play. This guy had no vision and no calling for help ofcourse he will get stomped
early game chen is strong because of the number of neutral creep you get at lv7 and they hit hard but once the game hit mid game where enemy can just straight up kill ur creeps you'll feel chen underwhelming, unlike enchantress where you can protect ur creep by hitting them with impetus
@@superitgel1 don't make much of a diff in crucial team fights but it does take down towers fast and rosh but that's all chen has to offer they unless you have a WD ward on ur team
If you are 0/4 on mid with no tower, and chen is dominating the game completlty, it's really hard to recovery from a game like this, mainly as arc warden which really needs at least midas and maelstrom asap.
@@passerbeta2298 I mean, the main part of Chen even as a support when it comes to the mid-late game is aura and tower push. It's hard to play against Chen when he's ahead due to the deathball potential they have
Point is that they need to be mid.In this case none of radiant hereos could lane against him.Mb downbreaker but then you have already lost at that point

Chen is the most wise character, he understand every jungle creep ability and how to use it properly, his wise is on another lvl, bcuz him i read every creeps ability too but fuck it i was having a bad team
Only thing i could think he could once he sees it is a mid chen is swap out with dawn, zues or sven. I dont know which of those heros would be better against a GM mid chen player but 1 of them would be. maybe they would just try to nuke the wave out and keep chen at bay. its hard because you have to contest bottle runes, unless the pos 4 or 5 just makes the sacrifice comes mid to refresh mid with mangos or do the bottle refresh. Seems hard for most heros to stop him without any additional support.
Chen has one of the highest skill ceiling in any moba game. The fact you can take control of every creep all with abilities and micro them everywhere is so ridiculous.
Arc warden no boots is extremely vulnerable to do this, but almost every mid hero has alternatives to the summons. Lina stuns and run, qop blink, never razes slow(2 razes and boots, byebye), puck go away in orb. I think alch is very susceptible also in early stages
Chen biggest impact is at early game, you can have army of lv5 jungle creep who can root,stun,slow if you pro at RTS game like warcraft micro all those creep shouls be easy
It's not really that broken..dota is complex gme..u use sniper u can rape that..and as a 22 winstreak spectre mid- u just go 2 ring,culling,tango,first big item vanguard..that Chen will make u rich af
I work very hard, come home do all necessary job, finish everything to play a game of dota with a glass of whiskey to clear all my daily anxiety and some guy watches youtube and fucks me within few mins of dota and I get few more enemies to face, same time game is getting too far complex and they added the most stupid heros in recent years. Its just bullshit but what can I do. In coming years me and my friends are quitting dota cuz its just getting rubbish year by year and classic heros and matches will be dead in near future cuz there are stupid heros like dawnbreaker, hoodwink and stupid marci fkn hell.
He’s way better than me but he should’ve at least spammed his spark wraith for the slow. Feel like he got tilted and just didn’t even try to use the slow to possibly survive. He died multiple times with full mana and not using a spell. Even if ur gonna die, go down swinging by using spells and dealing some damage to the creeps and slowing so you might outrun them. When he grabbed rune he didnt use a single spell and just ran with no boots and died. Thats tilt mode 101!
If he turns around to cast spark wraith then he is for sure dead, running was the only alternative and even then it didnt work, plus he does 0 damage to those large camp creeps
@@arthurochadel he def had time to turn and cast if he wanted to when he saw the zoo coming by the rune but he also could have just ran and casted it on the ground in front of himself to save the cast point turn around time so the zoo has to run through it and get slowed and maybe body block the other creeps behind. If he survived there with rune bottled he might have been able to keep tower for a bit longer and not get so extremely out-leveled. Its a bad matchup for sure but he just got tilted.
@@petsquirrelable chen has his creeps to tank tower hits he still runs topson over because of the ms difference regardless of how many spark wraiths he puts down. even if he did do as you say chen would have probably dived him under tower anyway
I love how he is like, yea this is broken, and now 2 years later everything that just happened to him is patched, now can hit creeps no matter the model with new settings
