if you are aware of the swing then you should be ok the idea is to hit up the back of the ball and avoid hitting the device it can take a certain amount of punishment it's flexible , of course if you smack straight into it you'll knock it over but Im sure you'll do more harm to your racket . remember low to high

you really dont understand anything about tennis technique do you? that "going high then low" is completely necessary for building momentum. Please go see some professionals hitting in slow motion

jeff spence it’s for learning...when you start is low to high and swing is steeper...as u get better it flattens out but it’s still low to high at a flatter angle
