Late start on this day at about 9 o’ clock in the morning. Took about an hour to get any action on the Topwater. Temperature was right around 60 degrees at the time. Wasn’t sure if the Topwater bite would still be there. Fishing over some big weed beds on this beautiful pond. Good size Pike came up and smashed the spook after following for a bit. He choked the lure and somehow managed to not bite me off thank goodness!
