In this bass fishing video we were only aloud to throw topwater. This is the topwater only day of pond fishing! Topwater fishing is by far the most exciting way to catch bass. So crazy it looks like you are fishing at golf course ponds with no structure sandy bottoms lawns up to the pond . So different than the northeast . The girls bass was nice .

I took a friend of mine who had never been fishing before in his life and his 40 years old fishing for the first time high tide on the Ozark trails version of the patroller and pointed to a spot just off of a windblown point and told him to cast there and reel it back he did what I said and on his first cast he caught a 6.3 lb largemouth bass. Is very first fish he ever caught was 1/2 lb bigger than my personal best largemouth. Unfortunately not too long after that he got hit by a car and is not physically capable of getting to any of the fishing spots anymore. I'm just glad he got the thrill of a topwater blow up before he got hurt. Maybe someday he will be able to go fishing again because I know he got the taste for it on that bite.

I feel your pain Noah. Fish haven't fully committed to what I been throwing at them. I've seen a 4 plus close to 5 jumping in the pocket of the dock. Same not paying attention she hit my lure, didn't expect it and😮 instead of reeling my slack before setting the hook I set the hook she came off. 🙄

I like the feet wear those are tough guys. I need to start doing that instead of messing up what i'm wearing.. You never know when you have to go on a hike! through woods, water, etc.. You just set the stage.. good deal.!

me and my friend were pond hopping and he caught an 11 pound trophy bass on a craw fish bait and it was elevated about a foot so when i was landing it he had to hold my feet and it was so heavy i dropped it and i barely lipped it before it swam away. crazy experience
